Publisher Description
A sizzling second chance, rock star romance from Welsh romance author, Morgana Bevan.
✓ A secretly soft, tattooed British rock star
✓ A stubborn heroine refusing to be won a second time
✓ A surprise second chance with a tempting offer she can't refuse
✓ Sparks flying despite a broken heart ten years past
✓ And two awesome, Ride-or-Die BFFs
I don't need a rockstar to be my knight in shining armour. Especially one who already had his chance.
My first love broke my heart when I was sixteen. James Tyler was everything I'd ever wanted, until he up and left. That's what I get for falling for a musician whose plans for world domination never included me.
My second love, photography, would never let me down.
Or so I thought until I discovered that making it as a music photographer is a lot harder in reality than in my dreams – and my savings account can only take a beating for so long before I have to swallow my pride and start grovelling to my arrogant, estranged father.
And if things couldn't get any worse, James is back…
Arriving with a job offer I shouldn't refuse, and a confession big enough to send shockwaves through the past, he throws my entire life upside down. But I don't care how successful his band is or that he insists I'm the one for him. If he thinks I forgive him tossing me aside ten years ago, he's got another thing coming.
To anyone else, James is a second chance wrapped in muscle and black ink. Too bad for him, I've never believed in second chances.

Customer Reviews
Not as good as the first, but ok.
Nia has some serious pent up resentment towards James. But of course, she is still also attracted to him and finds his attempts at reconnecting hard to turn down.
It was a cutesy story, with her dragging up the past every five minutes. The third act breakup was also weak. The man leaves the country without so much as a heads up text? It’s out of character for how he was written during their current situation. You can’t expect the reader to buy that he expected Nia to not notice his sudden absence as he flies to LA for an unknown period of time after they spend nearly every day together. WEAK.
Did I keep readying? Yes. Was the reunion also weak? Yes. Did she fall right back into his arms with little groveling? Yes.
Did I finish the book and then buy the third story of Mel and Dan? Sadly, also yes. I have been sucked into this series and will most likely finish it out.
It’s ok. It’s nothing great. If you are looking for a story to pass the time, or a beach read, these would be a recommendation.
Disliked the hero and the book
MMC/FMC- James and Nia
POV- 1st person dual
Genre- Rockstar Romance
Heat- they do the thing and name some of the parts.
Series? Y
Safety: no cheating, no sharing, no s. violence, no OW/OM drama, no cliffhanger, HEA/HFN.
Triggers- language, erotic content
Tropes- Second Chance, First Love
What I liked- I didn’t.
What I didn’t- James. He never really had consequences for hurting her. Repeatedly. He bought her a few things and that’s it. And tried to make up for it with a grand gesture. He was also annoying, immature, and focused on himself and his needs. And he had to get his own way. She had to do all the forgiving and the adjusting. I really disliked this book. I don’t think their relationship is sustainable, but frankly, I really don’t care either way.
Verdict- no thanks. I’ve liked some of the other books in this series, but not this one.
I received an advance review copy for free and I’m voluntarily leaving this honest review.

This is my second book that I have read by Morgana Bevan and I absolutely loved it! This is a another amazing Rockstar romance, add in the second chance component and you get an amazing story. James & Nia have a past that ended with heartbreak & they have so much of their past to work through. It makes for a great story.
If you love a good Rockstar romance then this is definitely one to check out.
