Lainie Suzanne was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband.

She loves reading Romance, but often found herself unable to relate to the characters. She wanted to read about a heroine she could relate to and thought other women would, too. The heroine in her Nexus Series, Katherine, is in her mid-forties, divorced, curvaceous, insecure, sassy, and feels self-conscious about her body. Things many women can relate to. She likes to say she writes Realistic Erotic Romance.

Lainie's always had a love affair with vampires, so she decided to merge eroticism and vampirism and The Blood Moon Series was born.

"I never thought of myself as a writer, and honestly I still don’t. I have stories and characters in my head that I want to know more about and see what kind of wicked kinkery they can get into along the way. My characters mean a lot to me; they’re part of me."
