Eugene Faber is a South African writer working in the thriller and action  genres, with a focus on disciplined pacing, grounded realism, and morally complex characters.

The Ghost of Retribution is his debut novel. While dark in tone, it reflects Eugene's broader interest in how violence, power, and past choices shape the present.

He is currently developing a series of action-driven novels centred on Wikus Coetzee, an ex-Recce operative based on South Africa's south coast, where corruption, political decay, and personal reckoning collide.

Eugene Faber lives in South Africa with his wife and 6 rescue dogs, and when he's not writing, he tends to his chilli plants, makes his own chilli sauces and indulges his love of gaming.
