While dark in tone, it reflects Eugene's broader interest in how violence, power, and past choices shape the present.</p><p>He is currently developing a series of action-driven novels centred on Wikus Coetzee, an ex-Recce operative based on South Africa's south coast, where corruption, political decay, and personal reckoning collide.</p><p>Eugene Faber lives in South Africa with his wife and 6 rescue dogs, and when he's not writing, he tends to his chilli plants, makes his own chilli sauces and indulges his love of gaming.</p>
