Marla-Marie Dean started writing as a challenge to herself for a NaNoWriMo project. She brings personal experience as a former professional dominatrix to her novels and adds a twist of fiction to keep it interesting.  She lives in Western Washington with her husband and four children.  Her published works include Behind Closed Doors and Black, Blue, and Purple Pain: A Domestic Violence Awareness Anthology. Melinda will be her third work.  Marla-Marie also loves volunteering in her community, painting, photographing nature, and hiking through the vast forests in Washington.
