Digger was dog-napped from his outback station home. Now he is forced to work on TV, by a cruel trainer. He escapes, and tries to return to his outback home. Bravely, he survives many dangers, including bushfire and flood. He visits several country towns. On the way, he helps many animals and people, and is called a hero.
Will he every find the children he remembers so fondly?

Barbara Randell

has been writing fiction for many years, but has only recently been interested in publishing her stories. She writes romances, (not passionate) , cosy mysteries, children's stories, and rhyming Australian bush ballads. She also published a memoir about her childhood in the 1950s. Most of her stories have an Australian flavour. She lives in Adelaide, Australia, is widowed, has two daughters, a son-in-law, and a teenage grandson.
