A graduate of Duke University, Christy English is the author of the historical fiction novels The Queen’s Pawn (2010) and To Be Queen: A Novel of the Early Life of Eleanor of Aquitaine (2011) from New American Library, a division of Penguin Random House. She has also written two historical romance series for Sourcebooks Casablanca: Shakespeare in Love (2012-2013) and Broadswords and Ballrooms (2015-2016). When she is not writing, she loves to walk the mountain trails near her home in western North Carolina.
