<p>A graduate of Duke University, Christy English is the author of the historical fiction novels <em>The Queen’s Pawn</em> (2010) and <em>To Be Queen: A Novel of the Early Life of Eleanor of Aquitaine</em> (2011) from New American Library, a division of Penguin Random House. She has also written two historical romance series for Sourcebooks Casablanca: <em>Shakespeare in Love</em> (2012-2013) and <em>Broadswords and Ballrooms</em> (2015-2016). When she is not writing, she loves to walk the mountain trails near her home in western North Carolina.</p>
