From the time I was five-years-old, I’ve wanted to be a writer. My earliest projects were inspired by Betty Wren Wright novels. I spent my time crafting illustrated stories that were inspired by my favorite novels. But I soon graduated to Tolkien and Lewis. My most recent inspiration comes from current events and George R. R. Martin’s Game of Thrones.

When I’m not writing, I’m hanging out with my husband and pets. I have a lot of pets. Three cats: Iktomi, Katara, and Lucifer. An Australian shepherd: Tlaloc. A box turtle: Gaia. Two red-eared-sliders: At and Tera. And a ball python: Artemis. All of us live in an apartment in San Antonio, Texas.
