<p>From the time I was five-years-old, I’ve wanted to be a writer. My earliest projects were inspired by Betty Wren Wright novels. I spent my time crafting illustrated stories that were inspired by my favorite novels. But I soon graduated to Tolkien and Lewis. My most recent inspiration comes from current events and George R. R. Martin’s Game of Thrones.</p>

<p>When I’m not writing, I’m hanging out with my husband and pets. I have a lot of pets. Three cats: Iktomi, Katara, and Lucifer. An Australian shepherd: Tlaloc. A box turtle: Gaia. Two red-eared-sliders: At and Tera. And a ball python: Artemis. All of us live in an apartment in San Antonio, Texas.</p>
