Candace (Candy) Campbell, DNP, RN, CNL,FNAP, was born in Portland, Oregon, and lives in the San Francisco area. Candy is an award-winning film maker (Micropremature Babies: How Low Can You Go?), actress (The Calling), educator, and author. 

Candy's other books are Channeling Florence Nightingale: Integrity, Insight, Innovation, which channels Florence Henderson's feelings about today's health care system, and three children's books:   the best-seller My Mom is a Nurse, My Grandma is a Nurse, and Good Things Come in Small Packages.

Candy has been featured on national media on a wide range of topics related to leadership, nursing education, and public health policy. Her role as Florence Nightingale in her one-woman show has gained numerous accalades by the press and audience members.
