Candace (Candy) Campbell, DNP, RN, CNL,FNAP, was born in Portland, Oregon, and lives in the San Francisco area. Candy is an award-winning film maker (Micropremature Babies: How Low Can You Go?), actress (The Calling), educator, and author. 

Candy's other books are Channeling Florence Nightingale: Integrity, Insight, Innovation, which channels Florence Henderson's feelings about today's health care system, and three children's books:   the best-seller My Mom is a Nurse, My Grandma is a Nurse, and Good Things Come in Small Packages.

Candy has been featured on national media on a wide range of topics related to leadership, nursing education, and public health policy. Her role as Florence Nightingale in her one-woman show has gained numerous accalades by the press and audience members.

An internationally recognized speaker and facilitator, Dr. Campbell's interactive interprofessional teambuilding and leadership workshops guarantee enhanced communication and collaboration, with the use of applied improvisational exercises from the arts.
