Candace (Candy) Campbell, DNP, RN, CNL,FNAP, was born in Portland, Oregon, and lives in the San Francisco area. Candy is an award-winning film maker (<em>Micropremature Babies: How Low Can You Go?</em>), actress (<em>The Calling</em>), educator, and author.&nbsp;<br><br>Candy's other books are&nbsp;<em>Channeling Florence Nightingale: Integrity, Insight, Innovation,&nbsp;</em>which channels Florence Henderson's feelings about today's health care system, and three children's books:&nbsp; &nbsp;the best-seller&nbsp;<em>My Mom is a Nurse, My Grandma is a Nurse,&nbsp;</em>and&nbsp;<em>Good Things Come in Small Packages.</em><br><br>Candy has been featured on national media on a wide range of topics related to leadership, nursing education, and public health policy. Her role as Florence Nightingale in her one-woman show has gained numerous accalades by the press and audience members.<br><br>An internationally recognized speaker and facilitator, Dr. Campbell's interactive interprofessional teambuilding and leadership workshops guarantee enhanced communication and collaboration, with the use of applied improvisational exercises from the arts.
