About this audiobook
I see you, Roman. You want to fight me, and then you want to be so good for me.
We’re lost boys, wild and forgotten. Born into a world of poverty and crime, my two best friends and I have nothing to rely on except each other. But I have a plan: if I can film viral BDSM porn, I might rake in enough cash to get us out of this trailer park before we become another gang violence statistic. Kink is a rich man’s game—high-end clubs, dungeons full of toys—but maybe two dirt-poor boys with homemade gear can still compete.
First, I need a sub. I’m looking for someone perfect and obedient—until the new boy moves into town. He’s huge and silent and skittish, broken down by pain and loneliness. But when he’s cornered, he fights like an animal. An animal who desperately wants to be tamed. When I look into his eyes, the flash of submission I see there has me obsessed. When he kneels for me, both our broken worlds become whole.
Nobody believes that trailer park boys deserve a better life, that we can find happiness and build our own family. But we’re fighters, and together the four of us will find a way to be free.
An intense, emotional story about, resilience and trauma, kink, hurt/comfort, a smaller dom/larger sub, and found family.

As much as I enjoyed this and loved seeing Roman finally having someone care for him and watching him unravel. I think he deserved a better dom. I love Scout, don’t get me wrong, but in terms of being a Dom he is the worst Dom I’ve ever read about. I loved him and Roman together but he wasn’t a responsible Dom and Roman needed an actual Dom who knew what they were doing. But I think Scout being an untrained Dom was also one of the things that made this book beautiful. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

3.5 stars for the story. And the narration 3.75. This was really sad and beautiful. It broke my heart, but I feel like it was as real as it could be. There wasn’t some big jump to happily ever after living in millions or anything like that. These are truly lost boys who find each other and help each other and make each other happy and standing by each other. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

Riley Nash knows how to wreck you, then put you back together at the end of a story. It's a great story, low angst with some good spice. Definitely felt bad for the main MC's with their not so lucky lives, yet they made the most of it. Poor Roman, he didn't deserve to be treated so badly. Truly upset me, this grown man was being controlled by his brother. The only thing that annoyed me was the pet name of the MC. However, it's a big part of the storyline with the relationship of Scout & Roman.1 person found this helpful

Broken boys, found family, and desperate love? Yes, please! LOVE Riley Nash - they are an exquisite storyteller. Riley is always able to plumb great emotional depths without ever being gratuitous. You feel for these characters because Riley makes them so achingly real. Great story, great execution, great narration. Just wonderful.1 person found this helpful
