Christmas wishes come true in New York City… or maybe not.

After a demanding career of living out of her suitcase, Sophia lands a dream job in New York City that will keep her in one place for six months. Being alone in a big city is nothing new for her but not during the holidays. When an irresistible jeweler appears in her life more than once, Christmas surprises pop up on every corner.

Drew loses his creativity and holiday spirit just when he needs it the most. Then a snowstorm blows Sophia into his jewelry store, and a surge of inspiration follows. He is used to handling precious gems but nothing as priceless as she is.

Even though they just met, their instant attraction turns into something more. But one event leads to betrayal, leaving Sophia once again alone and brokenhearted.

Can the magic of Christmas bring them back together, or will one of them be left in the cold?

*Snowflakes and Sapphires includes a frustrated jeweler who falls hard for a smart and beautiful German linguist. Be prepared for yummy holiday traditions, an abundance of sapphires and diamonds, swoony times during a blizzard, and a love declaration at Rockefeller center. This is a 33,000+ word story. First-person, double POV. Can be read as standalone.*

Snowflakes and Sapphires is the perfect book to read to get you in the holiday spirit or to get you in a good mood anytime of year. Sophia has just moved to NYC to work for 6 months. She is out walking when a snowstorm starts so she stops in jewelry store and meets Drew. Drew does not normally work the front so was it fate that brought them together. There was an instant attraction between them. But Drew is called away and they don't say good-bye. Drew is a jewelry designer and he was lacking inspiration and creativity right when he needed it most, but after meeting Sophia, he had it back. I loved that the book was set in NYC and all of the detailed descriptions of what the city is like leading up to Christmas. Sophia has another chance encounter with Drew a few days later when she is with his sister Lacey. Is it fate that they keep meeting? This is truly a magical love at first sight book. I loved all of the characters (well maybe not Christian), and the instant rapport and feeling of family and belonging they had. If you are looking for something to get you in the spirit of Christmas and the holidays, pick this one up. I don't think you will be disappointed. This is the first time I have read Ms. Beck, but I am already looking forward to the Spring book, and hope to read some of her others before then. I believe this was the start of a long relationship between this author and myself. I was given an ARC by Kristina Beck in return for an honest review. I enjoyed the ARC so much that as soon as I was finished it, I one-clicked it so I will always have this one. I hope you enjoyed the story of Sophia and Drew as much as I did.

It’s a quick cute, simple, short and sweet Christmas love story. It’s worth a quick read. Really no other way to describe it

This is the first book in “The Four Seasons” novella. Also happens to be my first book by Kristina. I really enjoyed Drew and Nora’s book. Loved the Insta love vibes and storyline. Their connection was strong and sweet. Excited to read Lacey’s story next.

This talented writer may just be the best kept secret in contemporary romance. I had never read her work before, but after reading this book, I’ll definitely be watching for more from her. If you’re looking for a new-to-you author, look no further.

BJ Spencer doesn’t have time for a relationship since he's busy with his auto repair shop and opening a new auto parts store. But he's always had a thing for redheads since he glimpsed a pretty ginger when he was a kid and fell halfway in love with her. When he sees a gorgeous redhead stranded on the side of the road, he can’t resist stopping his wrecker truck and playing knight in shining armor.

Jessie Knutson has one goal: get hired for the manager position at the new auto parts store opening soon so she can stay in town and help her father. Work is her single focus, but when the hot wrecker driver stops to help her and sparks begin to fly, Jessie is thinking a little time without focusing on work might be good, if she can spend it with her yummy rescuer.

This older woman/younger story man should have no problem keeping your attention. It's novella length, so it's a quick read, but it’s not rushed. The characters are well developed, and I never felt like anything was missing from the story. It’s captivating, humorous and steamy, but also packs an emotional punch, so grab your copy and prepare to fall in love with Jessie and BJ.

This was a sweet love story of two people accidentally meeting each other and knowing it is forever. Very refreshing!

A nice holiday romance. It hit all my emotions and ended on a good note with an actual ending not a cliffhanger! I will be looking for more of Beck's books

I have had this series on my kindle forever. After reading this, I don't know why I have waited so long to read.
Christmas is such a magical time and love found during this is even more so. Love the I stand chemistry between these characters. Everything is well-written and it feels as though you are part of the family.
A MUST read.

Sophia is in NYC because she is an expert in her field and is asked to teach at a university there. Drew is in an artistic slump without a muse to stir that creativity before he and his brother need to present fresh jewelry designs before a new client. A snowstorm gives them a chance meeting, and the Christmas spirit seems to keep pushing them together. But one misunderstanding could ruin everything.

It was really a lovely story for the Christmas season, a little on the sappy side, but that's what we're looking for at this time of year. I thought the story was sweet and didn't even mind that the coincidences were a bit much. I always love big family affairs, and he happened to have just such a situation, which was one more thing to draw her in.

The only real problem I had with it was that I could tell Drew was being written by a woman. Male voices are difficult to write from a female perspective, and he was a little wishy-washy for my tastes. But since this is a Christmas story, it didn't bother me as much as it might have had it been any other time of the year because there wasn't enough of a difference between the voices of the characters. It was a sweet Christmas read though.

I loved Snowflakes and Sapphires for so many reasons. We are put right in the middle of Manhattan and we have the feeling to really be there and not just read about it. The love story is so very romantic and genuine it wrapped me up in all the feel good feels. And have you ever seen a more beautiful cover? I don't think so! Highly recommended.

I was hooked on this story from the beginning. The characters are adorable.....well, most of them! A dreamy romance set in New York at Christmas time; what more could a girl want?
I'm so glad Kristina Beck has decided to make this into a series of 4 books; one story for every season. I can't wait to read more!

Snowflakes and Sapphires- what a charming read from Kristina Beck! This is the first book I’ve read by the author, and I enjoyed the burning romance between Sophia and Drew. My father was a jeweller for over 50 years, and I loved the nod to some jewellery terms I’d forgotten I knew! Overall, a lovely escape from he COVID-19 world, and I look forward to the second in the series.

Half way through the first book of four......really not my thing. Too sloppy and romantic with no story base and no sign of one. Wish I hadn’t bought all four together. It’s very unlikely I’ll even start the others.
