About this ebook

Two wrecked ships, one deadly secret—will the crew of the Strix make it out alive?

The crew of the Strix are no strangers to dangerous territory and even murkier legality. Captain Hedge runs a tight but flexible ship, navigating the shadowy lines between legitimate salvage and "creative acquisition." When a tip surfaces about two colossal vessels that fought a brutal battle before crashing, the Strix sets course.

Their mission is straightforward: board, salvage, and disappear before anyone else can claim the wreckage. But once aboard, the crew finds more than they bargained for—evidence of a struggle so fierce it defies explanation. The walls bear scorch marks, once-sealed bulkheads are ripped open, and every corner hints at a strange, haunting desperation. As they delve deeper, searching for valuable scrap and secrets alike, they begin to suspect that whatever tore these ships apart may not have left the wreckage empty.

Now, with the clock ticking and their suspicions mounting, Captain Hedge and the crew must decide if the salvage is worth the risk…or if some battles leave nothing worth saving.
