Now it’s up to him to make the break he’s been longing for, and hopefully some amends while he’s at it.

Carnal Cryptids: Regret and Redemption is a short / alternate POV tale intended to be read between Carnal Cryptids: East Coast and Carnal Cryptids 2: Southeast.

This story primarily focuses on enhancing events that have already occurred in Carnal Cryptids: East Coast, and offers additional insight and backstory that will lead into Carnal Cryptids 2: Southeast. While adult language is used and attraction is definitely present, this tale is just for a bit of backstory and thus does not contain spice (e.g. there’s no kissing, no beast-with-two-backs, etc.) - sorry! There will be LOTS in Carnal Cryptids 2, though, so try not to worry too much.

    This helps you understand some of what happened towards the end of the first book in the series since it’s tolls from two new POVs. Dov already didn’t seem too bad in the other book and he definitely redeemed himself.

    I liked having the POV of Jess and Dov's events of what happened behind-the-scenes in Book 1. It will really set the story moving forward for how the relationship progresses for Dov and Jess knowing the backstory. Hope to read he puts those knotting skills to use in the next book😘

    I loved CC:EC, and am eagerly awaiting CC:SE. Dov intrigued me when I first came across his character, and I'm glad to have this little snippet between him and Jess from their POV.
    I'm curious to find out what Ms Valentine has in store for these characters, as well as why Dov seems to be surviving on his own...and whether his requited attraction Jess has anything to do with it. This is a lovely little taster to keep us happy until CC:SE is released.
