      My mom got this book for my daughter the other day. She's wanted to hear it the last three nights. I like the artwork and cool message too.

    How did this story/book come about?

    Each night my family and I tell Arif and Rakim a story before bed. What I do is, make up a story off the top of my head for their bedtime story when it's my turn. Each night, something different. Doing this transformed the boys into telling each other stories off the top of their heads.

    So when the story about the boy Derek came around, they kept asking to retell it. The only problem was I didn't remember the story.
