About the author
Nigerian born and raised, Vivian Eni moved to the UK in 2007 to study for a master’s degree in human resources and international business at De Montfort University, Leicester.
Since then, she’s worked in various industries ranging from banking to telecommunications, outsourcing, publishing and technology consulting. In 2020, she qualified as a business and personal coach, while in 2021, she became an associate of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Eni understands the challenges of being a first-generation immigrant and Nigerian who’s trying to navigate a career in the western world with little-to-no guidance. How to Build a Corporate Career: Lessons from a First-Generation Migrant is the first in a series of books that are designed to help readers to follow in her footsteps as she continues to share her challenges, victories, fears and support (or the lack thereof) that she receives during her journey to build a successful career in the corporate world.
