Read these books couple times, last time was years ago, only thing irratats me, is he uses a lot of, were the characters keep thinking of there past over and over again, that gets boring, he probably does that as fill ins. My favorite books at by Raymond R. Fiest, with The Rift War Saga.

Terry Brooks has created a story line unequaled by any writer. When you start the books you will have this feeling that you know this. The federation, the republic. The high druids that use and harness the power of all living things. Later the druids will be known by another name, Jeti! Thats right this is the begining of Star wars. But you become more intwined with the characters. Enjoy

Great read, this book as well as all of the other shannara books are amazing and they are by far my favorite series of books.
