The Tourist and the Knight: A Living Past Medieval Time Travel Romance (Living Past: Medieval Book 1) Kindle Edition
I may be a medieval expert, but I didn’t travel to the past looking for a white knight. He found me.
Too bad Sir Robert Montague isn’t interested in winning me. He wants the one thing I can’t give him: everything I know about jousting. Now I’ve got a tenacious, all too-hot knight on my heels and I don’t know how much longer I can turn him down.
I don’t lose. Battles, jousts, women: I win and I take every advantage I can get.
So when I stumble upon a lady with an impressive knowledge of the art of jousting, I listen. And I want more.
Lady Lisette is unlike the other women I’ve pursued. Flirtation and flattery won’t get me anywhere. For the first time in my life, a lady expects more from me than pretty words and a pleasurable night between the sheets. And for the first time, I want to give it to her.
The Tourist and the Knight is book one in the Living Past: Medieval Series. It is a standalone two-hour instalove novella featuring a handsome knight, a clever heroine, and an unlikely romance.

* The dual perspectives from the male lead and female lead are well done
* The world building and research put into this 90-page story is really good
* The plot was a solid slow-burn romance with a realistic twist
You can tell this is a standalone within a series. But I love that you can enjoy it whether or not you've read any of the other books. This was perfect to read in between longer books. Loved it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a wonderful story. It was short but very enjoyable. It doesn't take a long of time to read. I adore time-travel romances. The plot of a time-travel company sending people back in time was a twist to the sub-genre that I haven't read before. I liked it.
I adored the dual POV format. Getting that glimpse into the two main protagonists' thoughts really helped me to better understand them and enjoy the story more.
This was a sexy read so just a word of caution. Now for book 2!!!
This was a nice, simple, quick read. The perfect pallet cleanser if you’re ever in a series hangover. There is minimal angst but again, it’s a pleasant change of pace.
I enjoyed Lisette’s character immensely. She was independent and clever.
Robert could have used a little more details when transitioning from aloof to love. It was very sudden without getting to actually experience the connection.
I am very interested in how Lisette’s decision will affect Living Past, who Roland’s wife is & why was Shawn a little off towards the end.
