This is a standalone Book and a Dark Billionaire Romance and it is Dex and Katja's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Dex and Katja have history that went so bad after both of there father's death and Katja forced Dex out of the hotel that had been part of both of there parent's as they had been business partner's. Katja had a marriage of convenience to Tristan but he was never faithful to her and died with a heart attack while he was with one of his mistresses leaving Katja alone and in financial trouble she to all the bad decisions that he had made and that is when Dex stepped in to help and get ahead of the situation. Omg this book is dark, decadent, hot and has some intense chemistry that nearly cried my kindle and I couldn't put this book down as it had me booked right from the first page and kept my attention throughout the whole book as it was a real page turner that had you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages to see what would happen next and what the outcome would be and it was totally addictive. Alta Hensley is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I can't wait to read more of her books. I love Alta Hensley, but have never read Livia Grants work, so wasn't sure what to expect. I loved it, the two writers worked together well to produce a beautifully seamless finished book. The storyline was enjoyable and intriguing, with a enemy to lover theme, two people Dex and Katja who had grown up knowing each other, there father's having worked together. They went there separate until Katja needs help from Dex. There attraction is palatable, although they both dance around each other and their attraction. This was a beautifully written book, that kept me engaged desperate to find out what happens.
