    Introduction to Immune Health and System

    Immune Health

    Immune health is when the immune system is working properly to fight pathogens, maintain homeostasis, and heal.Lifestyle, nutrition, and environment impact it. (WHO, 2020; Calder et al., 2020).

    Our body itself is a hospital that fights with disease causing organisms and keeps bogy healing. Simply put, the power of our body maintains normal health. Immune health indicates the general well-being of the immune system.

    When the body can oppose infections, maintain homeostasis, and respond to foreign bodies, it can prevent excessive autoimmune reactions (Calder et al., 2017). Furthermore, it involves coordinating unique components of the immune system. The white blood cells, antibodies, and lymphoid organs protect the body from infections, illnesses, and other fitness risks.

    This definition illustrates the crucial role of immunological health in general well-being. It shows that healthy nutrition, a favorable environment, and a lifestyle are essential to controlling immunological health. To enhance our immunological health, we must consider various elements. We shall discuss this systematically in the book.

    The immunological health or immune health and immunity are looking like synonyms. But they are holding some specific meaning. We will discuss it later in the respective topics. First. I am talking about the immune health and system.

    Understanding Immune Health

    The immune system's overall health is immune health. It helps maintain immunological homeostasis, support efficient immune responses, and prevent inflammation and autoimmune reactions. An immune system with effective defences and self-antigen tolerance is healthy. It prevents infections and immunological illnesses (Calder et al., 2017).

    Immunological health depends on genetics, age, diet, lifestyle, and environment. Stress, lack of exercise, nutritional inadequacies, and environmental contaminants also affect immune function and sickness risk (Calder et al., 2017).

    Immune system

    The immune system is a resilient protector that safeguards the body. It protects us from dangerous invaders and chemicals. Our body is a complex realm of human health. It coordinates the proper working of cells, tissues, and organs. Our body is prepared to launch sturdy protection instantly. Immune health does not mean merely preventing diseases. It is also essential for the well-being of our bodies.

    Immune health is a fundamental aspect of human well-being and energy. It plays a varied function in safeguarding human health. The immune system keeps us away from infections and helps endurance and flexibility. As we understand the significance of immunological health, we can take proactive steps to bolster and enhance this crucial system. Lifestyle practices improve immune function. By using preventative and promotional healthcare techniques, we can empower ourselves to live healthier, more vibrant lives.

    Importance of Immune Health

    Many threats,  including viruses, bacteria, fungi, and cancer cells, are resisted by the immune system within the body. The primary defense mechanism of the immune system has been serving as a shield to protect us from harm, which prevents infection and diseases (Sompayrac, 2019). In addition to preventing pathogenic objects from entering the body, the immune system works to heal wounds and sick parts. It always tries to keep the body free from the effects of a polluted environment.

    Infectious diseases are not the only ones that affect immune health. Many other elements play an essential role in keeping the body healthy. A recent study shows a link between the body's immune system and body conditions such as digestive system, mental well-being, and stress (Raj et al., 2020). So, immune health keeps the body smooth while maintaining a balance between vital organs. It offers the energy to keep the body well.

    Moreover, immune health is correlated with everyone's routine and well-being. The latest research advises that people with inadequate immune health tend to develop illnesses quickly and chronic disorders. Such people get unwell from the illness soon, and their mortality rate is high (Goronzy & Weyand, 2019). In addition,  we can increase life expectancy by exercising and maintaining an active life, reducing body weight, and keeping blood pressure under control  (Molony et al., 2020). Therefore, investing in immune health is more than taking safety measures. A healthy lifestyle is the basis for a long life.

    Immune health and immunity

    Immune health is the general circumstance of the immune system, which includes its potential to efficiently shield the body from infections, ailments, and different health dangers. The process includes immune reaction strength, the balance of immune cells and chemicals, and the ability to start the right defenses while preventing too many infections or autoimmune responses (Calder et al., 2017).

    Immunity refers to the ability of the body's immune system to cope with infections or diseases caused by antibodies from mother to child (congenital) or antibodies resulting from advanced exposure to antigens. Such capabilities or defenses can be divided into two parts. The first is intrinsic, whereas the second is acquired. Innate immunity is the body's defensive mechanism that offers rapid protection against harmful agents. Acquired immunity occurs in the body in response to a specific infection or vaccination.
