About this ebook
Inspired by the age-old nursery rhyme, RB redefines the meaning of the song in a way that makes it relatable to her in this 25 poem collection exploring various themes such such depression, the emotions and thoughts one experiences in recovery and other important life choices one has to make when they have no will to live. RB writes this from a teenager's point of view, finding a gateway to understanding oneself and beginning to understand the reasons why we feel the way we feel towards certain things. When all the world is frantically finding purpose and setting goals and changing itself, this Little girl Blue is in the back of the barn fast asleep.

Little Girl Blue - RB Gono
A sad poem
I thought Solely to myself- (Yet not by myself)
That if I said more words that sounded a little more cheery
I might begin feeling that way
If my conduct was a little more friendly
Perhaps I would stop liking being alone
Alone not lonely- (I was always alone)
As I said these things I saw that you became a little hopeful
(I heard that sigh)
Maybe she will marry before the night enraptures both of us
So you started plotting that joyful
(Though slightly less to me)
Event
Without my consent
But I had promised that I wasn’t going to shout
Never again would I scream—
(out loud)
Of the pressure I feel when you talk about how another’s Child
In mine arms will make you proud
Not my way with words that unite a nation
(even if it is only for 60 seconds)
I promised that I would be pleasantly passive
Passionately peaceful
To not speak of the things that make people frown
Rather say words like how whimsical
: when it’s not
And
