I’m not saying your Royal Wizard is a liar. I’m just saying he’s misinformed.
All right, look. I got bounced out of my apprenticeship because I couldn’t just accumulate magical power through meditation or some other crap. Yeah, I can get enough to do the little things all on my own, but I could never gather any real power and hold it inside me.
No, I don’t know why. My master didn’t know why either, and neither did any of his six – six – other apprentices.
Yeah, I don’t think any of them tried very hard to help me on this one. Especially my competition. Excuse me, fellow apprentices.
