About this ebook
Evangeline Miles never imagined calling on a private investigator, least of all for their loving partner. But it's been a year since she up and left them, without a word.
But not just any PI will do; while at odd ends of the supernatural (Evan, a witch with vampiric tendencies, Eddie a werewolf), Evan requires the expertise of one well versed with creatures of the night.
Enter Svenja, the charming wolf shifter that Evan can't seem to resist—in more ways than one.

About The Author
Gone Was the Glow
E vangeline Miles?
She was tall, well over six feet, with cool blue eyes and blonde hair in a Dutch braid. Handsome, and crackling with an undertone of masculine energy. Her hand was warm, grip firm. They squeezed back, and she smiled at the hidden strength.
Just Evan will do.
Svenja. Her name was Svenja Fuchs. She masked it well with mint flavored gum, but the familiar smell of cigarette smoke clung to her jacket.
She was based in Germany, but most of her clientele extended across Europe and overseas. Inviting her into their home was too forward, but the cafe was an excellent middle ground.
You’re strong,
she said, lifting her mug. Her brow wrinkled, but she ventured a sip.
I’m sure you know why.
Evan pulled their lips back, revealing the curves and points of fangs. They touched a light hand to the brooch on their shoulder, a myna bird in flight. It offered a timid chirp, but got started with an encouraging pet.
Sorrel fluttered down onto the table, retaining his miniature form. He huddled close to Evan’s teacup, where they easily camouflaged him from the surrounding crowd. Svenja snapped her fingers, and Evan’s neck prickled at the invisible glass jar encompassing their table, shrouding their conversation from others and vice versa.
Evan idly scratched their arm. If they were to reach out and brush their fingers against the air, only faint ripples for the magically inclined would appear.
