Scarlett Cole is a contemporary romance and romantic suspense author who calls both Toronto, Canada and Manchester, England home. A born city dweller, she periodically quashes the urge to live in the country by hiking up a mountain to remind herself that living away from people would terrify the pants off her.

She believes everybody deserves their love story to be told and loves her heroes on the rough and rugged side…and usually tall (because she married one of those 6ft 6” men you read about in romance!). She’s an A-type personality and Scorpio star sign, so good luck getting her to do anything she doesn’t want to.

When she isn’t writing, she’s happy to talk hot men and expensive shoes while drinking a cold gin and tonic. Don’t bring up olives. As far as Scarlett is concerned, they are the devil’s food. As long as you don’t bring up olives, she’s happy to hear from any time.

Book seven in the Iron Outlaws MC series. When halo finds his father murder he becomes a single father. Adrianne hates her life. She has an abusive husband. When she gets word that her sister is dead, she leaves her husband behind. At the funeral she meets her sister baby and new guardian halo. She’s broken yet she’s sassy. Too young for him. He can’t help but want her. All broken. Together they find a unique taste for each other. When her past come calling halo and the club are there to save her.

    I don’t even know where to start with this review because not only is this book amazing, but this is a series that keeps getting better. Just when you thought you found your favourite story in the series, the next book comes out and changes your mind. 5 stars does not cover how good this book was. I don’t think 10 stars would cover it.

    I tend to veer away from books that have any Daddy Dom vibes because there’s an eww factor for me. But this book has changed my mind. The author does an amazing job of taking the ick factor away and showing how it can be used in a way that brings comfort rather than eww feelings

    From the opening pages to the last one where you leave the book with a gasp and a feeling of what do I do with myself now, this book will drag you through all the feels and have you begging for more.

    I’ve waited not so patiently for Halo’s story and yes that wait was totally worth it. The big bad ex Navy SEAL has hidden depth that I didn’t expect but absolutely loved. He’s got a dirty mouth and he knows how to use it, a heart as big as he is and a soft side that will make you melt.

    He’s the perfect match for our heroine Ari, who’s growth through the book is nothing short of beautiful. Watching her blossom into the woman she was always meant to be is one of my favourite things in the story. Ari has had it rough but when she finds her backbone and takes that first step to being the real Ari, she shines.

    Together, these two are a combustible pairing. They face big obstacles together, find out how to become parents and how to navigate a new relationship while the world around them implodes.

    I have absolutely loved this series and especially how it keeps expanding and getting richer and deeper with each book released. The Souls We Claim is the perfect addition to a phenomenal series.

    Do not miss this series. Do not miss the Iron Outlaws and really don’t miss your chance to fall for the baddest bikers with soft centres and kick ass women who love them.

    Such a great story.

    Halo is an ex-Navy SEAL, but he's finding it tdifficult to face and deal with all the tragedy that has recently hit him. He lost those closest to him and become an instant parent with no planning or preparation. He needs help, and it comes from the most unlikely, and unexpected source.

    Arianne is a woman who has been beaten down and mentally broken by her abusive ex and non-supportive parents. After finding out her sister has died, she finally finds the strength to leave her husband. She packs her bags and heads to New Jersey for her sister's funeral. Once she arrives she finds a savior in an outlaw biker who is also suffering from his own recent lose.

    The two of them together were just beautiful. Halo helped Ari overcome so many obstacles and past traumas, and Ari helped Halo accept love and realize what he truly wanted for his future. I loved reading their story.

    My favorite part about this series is that with each story, we get to see and catch up with the couples and characters from the previous books. Avery is still sassy and keeping the men on their toes, especially Bates and Niro. I love watching the dynamics of the club and the relationship expand, grow and get better over time. Not just the romantic relationship, but the brotherhood as well.

    The ending of this story nearly broke me. I'm everything with get sorted and heal in the next book.

    I have had the best time binging the first 7 books in this series and I look forward to reading Switch's story next when it's released. Well done to the author!

    Oh so exciting! This book was a hit from word one until the end. And what an ending, the 2nd epilogue will your mind! But before getting to that epilogue you will love reading about Ari and Halo. They meet while attending the funeral of her sister. Halo has just buried his father and has the responsibility of the orphaned Lolly. She is running from her abusive husband and Halo quickly spots her bruises and cuts. He enlists he help of his MC brother Switc. Halo ends up taking her hoping she can help with Lolly and he can help her find her courage and her fight to leave victimhood behind. He is of course sexually attracted to her but he thinks his daddy kink might be too much for her and besides he could only give her one night which might make her leave him alone to raise the baby.
    I love the continued brotherhood of the MC and seeing other characters we have come to love.

    I couldn’t get enough of this book, Halo was amazing, so sad this book is finished, might have to read it again.

    Avery and Niro they were an added bonus, along with the rest of the MC.

    Wish we had more closure on Halo’s brother and what really led to him seeking revenge, including his sister, then there was Brandon the prospect, there seemed to be a story there.

    J’aime beaucoup cette série de S.Cole qui est pourtant assez différente de ce qu’elle écrivait avant et j’avais particulièrement accroché aux deux derniers tomes. Au vu du cliffhanger du tome précédent, j’avais d’ailleurs très hâte de découvrir l’histoire d’Halo, un des membres des Iron Outlaws, et de Arianne, une jeune femme qui fuit une situation critique. Halo est en quête de vengeance après que quelqu’un s’en soit pris à sa famille. En plus de cela il a reçu de très fortes responsabilités qu’il ne peut pas ignorer. Alors quand Arianne débarque dans sa vie, elle est à la fois la réponse à ses prières pour l’aider avec ses nouvelles responsabilités mais aussi la personne à laquelle il pense sans arrêt, avec qui il veut certaines choses qu’il ne devrait pas. Il pense qu’il est trop vieux pour elle et qu’il n’est pas fait pour les relations. Mais alors que le danger se rapproche d’eux il se rend compte qu’il est prêt à tout pour ceux qu’ils aiment, dont Arianne…
    C’est un très bon tome avec des protagonistes très intéressants.
    Halo est un peu brut au premier abord mais finalement il se révèle très loyal, protecteur et drôle. Son envie de vengeance est compréhensible. Je l’ai trouvé très attachant avec sa soeur Lola et Arianne.
    Cette dernière est très touchante. Elle est douce mais c’est une battante qui fait tout pour se sortir d’une situation extrêmement difficile et dangereuse pour elle. Elle se relève tant bien que mal avec l’aide d’Halo et a une super évolution au cours de l’histoire.
    Leur relation est très forte et est basée sur le respect et la confiance ce qui est très important pour Arianne.
    La trame est intéressante. On retrouve le fil conducteur que l’on suit depuis le premier tome. Cependant j’ai peu eu un l’impression qu’il passait au second plan par moment, ce qui est dommage vu l’importance de certains points par rapport à l’intrigue. La fin est un peu abrupte aussi mais je pense qu’il y aura plus de détails dans le tome suivant (ou du moins je l’espère sinon ce serait une fin un peu trop simple avec beaucoup d’éléments qui restent sans réponse).
    Les thématiques abordées au cours de ce tome sont difficiles mais bien traitées.
    J’ai été contente de retrouver les personnages des tomes précédents et j’ai très hâte de lire le prochain tome sur Switch, qui promet au vu de l’épilogue de ce tome. Cependant je vais devoir patienter un peu puisqu’il doit paraître en août 2024.

    Oh My!! This book just gripped me. This was my first Iron Outlaws book and i am hooked!!! Halo was just what i needed, he was fierce and wanting to protect his family after he unthinkable happens. He meets Arianne after this event and she has been through her own trauma and has had finally had the strength to leave. I loved everything about this story and loved meeting the other outlaws. The story had me gripped and i couldn't put it down. I'm now going to go back to the beginning to read the rest of this series before book 8 comes out later this year as i can't get enough of these Iron Outlaws.
