The beginning was a bit slow for me, and I wasn't sure I wanted to invest in the world. But it picked up pretty quickly and once it grabbed me, I was all in. There were a few characters I really liked, but Emiko, the Wind-Up Girl was my favourite. She was interesting enough to warrant another book. I would be interested to see how she evolves. Good, fun book, with some nice world-building.

Starts slow but builds to an exciting and quick pace. The main characters all are well developed, multifaceted and believable. Let's hope the world doesn't go in this direction.

Hard to follow at first, somewhat dull finish. No mention of a follow up story. Not worth the money i paid for it
