The Dawning of Darkness: The Fall of Gods and Kings, by James G. Robertson is the beginning novella of a fantasy series. I listened to the audio version of the book which was really well done. The story is like Camelot meets Lord of the Rings. The story is dark, fast paced with lots of horror and fighting. There are fairies and fireflies and a Dark Creator. Buckle up for this one!! - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

Very cinematic audio book about a war between characters from myth and history, but nothing groundbreaking in the world of fantasy. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

I received the audio version of this book for review. The story was very well written, it kept the reader intrigued and wanting more. The voice of the narrator could not have been more perfect. The deep dark voice was an added extra to the theatric to this story. But what really sold it for me was the background music and Great sound effects. I only wish that all my audiobooks were this theatrical. It was a wonderful read. Strong characters and a entertaining storyline. I would highly recommend this audiobook.
