    i have been following the series since i came across Katie's books on amazon and love the series love paranormal books vampires , werewolves and otherkins and humans oh my .
    but what happens when the leader of freeing the vampires from being used , abused and killed gets you almost killed or changed so bad that you lose yourself . will you gain some of your will and know the differences of right and wrong or are you forever changed .
    and what happens when your dearest friend wants to turn due to falling for another though they may have a different type of love but never realized it at the time what it truly was . and what if the human who helps you has a daughter who was close to dying but was changed and now has eyes for another vampire what will happen will peace prevail or will hatred of vampires succeed . find out by buying this and much more can only hope to read book 7 of this series can only hope there will be one .

    Another book, another lesson learned. This was one of those books that had my emotions all over the place. Of course it seemed I cried more than anything. I love it when a book brings you into the emotions of the Characters. I felt so much of Mira and the struggles she had to go through. I understood her need to kill the ones that had wronged her. If only more people had her strengths and I imagine the love of Stryker helped her along too.

    Onto the lesson that we have learned from the book. I believe there are a couple different ones. Sometimes a person can feel like they have lost their true self, but with true friends you can never truly loose yourself. I believe the one main lesson that we learn from the series as a whole is never give up on the things that you want to accomplish even if the odds are stacked against you.

    Four and a half from me
    Well this the final instalment is a a total revelation. This series has been so absorbing with our heroine Mira being such a strong character. She never wanted to be a slave, a gladiator, Mira just wanted to be free but freedom comes at a cost. For Mira that cost meant stepping up and taking charge with all the constraints and problems that follow. Not everyone believes in her vision though and as this book begins Mira is missing and broken and it's time for the mantle of power to be passed to the survivors .
    This is hard as I've no wish to ruin things for my fellow readers. Ok I can say that it's much more of an ensemble piece as those who have fought alongside Mira have to make some tough choices. The Elites still wish to oppress the Vampires and have stepped up their insidious war with unnatural weapons that defy belief. The rebels consist of Otherkin, vampires and even a smattering of humans but without Mira can they come together and be strong enough to fight for peace? Stryker isn't giving up on finding his mate Mira but what he discovers is no longer the woman who loved him. Justine feels responsible for goading Mira and now everything they have strived for is in tatters . Yet Lucian gets to shine in this book and it doesn't matter that he's just a human because his insight and belief in their cause means he will rise up to the challenge. Its not going to be easy though as the vampires will never trust a human.
    So my final thoughts are this series has been simply unmissable and don't think that because the books are on average about two hundred pages long that a lot of heart doesn't go into them. Action, romance and even horrorific events thrum through these books. This particular one is no different and there's a rawness to this world the author has created that just resonates. Yes its traumatic to read at times, yes it's heartbreaking how truly evil humanity can be but whilst there's life there's hope and somethings really are worth fighting for. Read this series in order and get blown away as one woman's sacrifice leads the way for others to find peace and even love.

    Just WOW!!! Epicness! Best book of the series, which is heartbreaking because now it's over. It was wrapped it up so perfectly! It wasn't rushed, but didn't drag, non stop action and sooooooo much emotion! I teared up numerous times. I love Mira, and that poor girl has gone through some poo throughout this series, and what happened at the end of Retribution and beginning of this one, might have just been enough to break her completely. But her ever faithful mate will stop at nothing to save her and bring her back to him. We get to see new sides to all our favorite characters here, and I couldn't be more happy with how things worked out for sweet Lucian!!! So good! so so good!

    I'm sad to see the chronicles end! I'm not sure what I'll read now! I absolutely loved this book. Katie did great! I feel as if she wrapped up the story line very nicely. I wish that the chronicles could keep on going. If you're thinking of reading this book, but just aren't sure, definitely do it! You won't be disappointed that's for sure!!

    I've been waiting for this book since I finished Retribution and Salidas did not disappoint. This book picks up where Retribution left off and brings the reader on a journey to the edge and back. If you want a fresh look at vampire lore, pick this series up. You will not be disappointed.

    Feral! A strong and deadly word. Too much damage had been inflicted and doubts and fear were presented all the time. The battle continued threatening to exterminate all living beings no matter if they were human, vampire, otherkin or monsters. Action, suspense, despair, lot of violence, struggle for political power, romance and love. Liked how the intensity of the story escalated with Ryker and Lucian’s emotions and feelings, strong enough to deal with situations that threatened their lives and their future. Both were strong characters and I liked very much, their insight and how each one visualized their role in the struggle. I was very satisfied with the outcome of this exciting story. Made me emotional a lot of times suffering with the protagonists. Love these stories that shake my emotions. Voluntarily reviewed it.
