Who Killed Mrs. Claus?!
This is the first book in the series that I have read. I appreciated the fact that Carly gives the new reader (to the series) a brief synopsis of what has happened so far.
I truly enjoyed this book. It’s a fun, Christmas cozy mystery. I like the two main characters: Sam and Jordan and the will they or won’t they dynamic. The murder mystery involves Mrs Claus! Sam and Jordan are on the case and run into an assorted cast of characters. I am a fan of Annabelle who works in Sam’s shop. She goofy but sweet and reliable … and a good friend to Sam.
The town of Heywood and their unfailing enjoyment of Christmas is a joy and invites the reader to enjoy some time with them. It’s definitely a place I will will revisit in future stories.
The story is a quick read … perhaps by a Christmas fire while drinking hot chocolate?
