She needed a husband to get rid of her boyfriend. The grump obliged.

"Such a fun, sweet story. A fresh spin on the fake marriage trope!" Susan K.

Reading this series is like reading about the citizens of "Mayberry." They are unassuming, unapologetically nosey and quite funny. Although the story line is far fetched, I can certainly picture this happening in a small town. A very entertaining read.

This book had me ready to read it after getting a sneak peek about it at the end of Dawn & Joss's book. And oh my goodness this was a winner for me. First of all, I love a book with a bit of drama. And whewwweee Chile did this book come with drama!!! Shanae was being coerced to marry a "man" (I use the term loosely) she never wanted to see again let alone get hitched to. Shanae marries the town grump, Bo, and their story just gets better and better from them until the last page of their HEA epilogue.

I love how this author tells a story. It's so delicious, sweet, sexy, naughty, and very entertaining. I highly recommend it. I can't wait to read Neha's story!!

The premise of this novel is so out there, that for the first time in a long time I kept saying to myself, "this is fiction".
So here is the believable plot of this story: The fianacee goes to this small town fair with her boyfriend (an NFL star) and his agent who plan to have them married in an effort to raise the NFL star's PR stock because he impregnanted two team-mates wives! (How am I doing so far?)
She decides, nuh-nuh and grabs a random starnger, (white guy) and marries him.
And then the plot unravels from there.
It was a challenge to read for sure, but I hate DNF so I followed through.

I did not want this book to end! The MCs were too adorable. They married under incredibly weird circumstances but I loved their banter and connection. This was a really enjoyable, short read.

This author was recommended to me by another author and she did not disappoint. This is a quick read that is captivating. Shanae is getting mixed signals from her boyfriend and soon finds out why. When she tries to get away from him she is presented with a solution that is bizarre but worth a try. Bo is a man of few words, but he sees something in Shanae and decides to help her. Their story is well thought out, the characters are worth rooting for and the ending is beautiful. I will be reading more from this author in the future.

Quick 14 chapter story. Easily read in one day. I have never read this author or even heard of her until I found this story.
I enjoyed this story for the most part. I definitely didn’t like Jordan or Wyatt; it was bad enough in the beginning but then hearing about why they wanted her to marry Jordan was just disgusting.
Bo was an interesting character. He was a grump but he was also very short with his words. I wasn’t sure how these two would work out but I loved how close they became and you could just tell how much he wanted to be with her.

Well written story and well developed characters! These books are funny, romantic and ,emotional! I love them! I am on to the next one!

This was a bit of a quirky read, but I liked it. The marriage part really was anyone at hand; of which Bo was the lucky winning candidate. The crazy situation Shanae found herself in was almost comical. Suddenly married to the town grump who grunts or speaks only a handful of sentences in an entire day as his form of communication is a bit daunting. As for Bo, a softy and a family man, at heart. Even if he says very little. They were actually a cute complement to each other as a couple. However, I really wanted more of an exploration of the relationship, given the circumstances of the marriage.

The mix of characters, family and the slight quirkiness of the town added to the cozy, homey feel of the story.

Overall, it was a quick, cute read with an ending that was just right.

Shanae ends up in a small town with her boyfriend who has just broken up with her. He then tells her they are getting married. Reeling from this and disgusted with his disrespect for her she wonders off to think clearly. She is so caught up in her feelings and angst that she is unaware of what she is doing. Bo is the grumpy man she tries to open using his stomach before she realises that he is not a door. This is a short and sexy story about the surprising touch of insta love. I really enjoyed it.
