    The Kings Of Vengeance are back again but this time with Brick who's out of prison. We learned Brick and Kaye have a history, one they do not want to talk about mainly Brick, the love they had is still there but they're fighting it which I understand I would've felt the same way if the person that pledged their love just give up on me. This bunch is funny, witty, they make you laugh, they may come off as a bunch of goofs but they will go to bat to for each other⚜⚜⚜

    Jax lost Kaye bc he didn’t tell her everything. He’s don’t his time. When they come face to face they know things are not over. He finally explains everything to her & they actually talk. Is it to late? Can they work things out?

    Blacktop Freedom is a another hit for Travers. I absolutely loved Jax aka Brick. I loved his and Kaye's banter, more drama unfolds in the Kings of Vengeance clubhouse. The old ladies are still up to their silly antics, Kimber is having " the Heir" and Deedra decides back patio furniture needs to be bought out in November. I just love the old lady's of KOV. The ending was a dozy I did not see coming.. talk about twist in the storyline. Now I have to wait patiently for Ride or Die. Happy Reading!

    Part of it is I just don't get into this type of story with the girl havng this clean career and the guy being in the club. It just is not my thing. Part of it is I feel like I'm slogging through this book especially the beginning. I think that is due in large part to the heavy club business aspect of this book which is another thing I struggle getting into.

    Another fabulous entry in the Kings of Vengeance! Brick and Kaye are another couple that are getting their second chance to get it right. The tension between them is like a living entity and I just hurt for Brick. Kaye is a little hard to like at first, she was the one who locked Brick up five years ago. Kimber and the other old ladies had me laughing. That ending, oh my gosh that ending! Can't wait for Ride or Die!

    Brick and Kaye were a couple I struggled with at first. I liked Brick but Kaye annoyed me at first. But once I got into the story and learned a little about her character I soon changed my mind. Well written and great story. Now got to wait for the next installment.
