About this ebook

“Cole masterfully pulls off tense moments, horror, questioning whether something is even real or not and action. I highly recommend this book.”

The thing about demons and the occult is no matter how skeptical you are, even if you believe that it's all a bunch of bunk, there's that niggling at the back of your mind that thinks what if... The Everett Exorcism, with its ever-building tension, plays on that niggling thought until you're terrified to turn the page, but at the same time, you can't stop. Lincoln Cole has given us a wonderfully written, creepy as creepy gets tale. With strange looks, perfectly timed words that at any other time could be completely innocuous, and even a disturbing doll, the tension builds as Father Paladina investigates a possible possession. What he finds in Everett goes beyond a single person possessed and had this reader turning on the lights to chase the shadows away. If this first book in the World of Shadows series is any indication of what's to come, I can't wait for the next terrifying addition.

Lincoln Cole hooked me in the chilling prologue and held me in the palm of his hand through the rest of the book. As I read The Everett Exorcism, I found my heart pounding and chills on my arms. What an intriguing scary read! Father Niccolo Paladina, Father Jackson Reynolds, and demon Hunter Arthur Vangeest, bring realism to this tale of demons, God, and the Catholic Church. I loved watching the characters grow and mature as Cole fully developed their character and personality. Cole included an array of secondary characters which brought depth to the story line. As a result, The Everett Exorcism's an intense action packed drama of the age-old battle between good and evil. With elements of the paranormal, horror, religion, greed, and power, Cole crafted an intriguing emotional tale; including an Exorcist who does not believe in demons brought originality and realism to the story. Lincoln Cole skillfully developed the antagonist of The Everett Exorcism; filling him with greed and the desire for more and more power. Cole placed him in a seat of religious authority where he uses his power and influence for evil. He's the great pretender who appears pious. MY OPINION: I found The Everett Exorcism fast paced and well-written. The characters are well-developed, full-bodied, realistic and believable. Cole created an intense drama with an original refreshing story line. He created an action packed finale filled with demons and terror as they battle for the souls in small town Everett. Although part of a series, The Everett Exorcism's a standalone read. Cole gives the reader enough background to bring you up-to-date. I would not hesitate to buy this book for myself or a friend. I look forward to the next book in this series. Additionally, I received this book from the author and chose to voluntarily review the book with honest book reviews.

A good thriller that kept me reading to find out how it ends. Twists and turns and surprise characters showing up here and there. I liked that the prologue was the suspenseful ending that caught my attention and kept me reading. I just had to know why Father Paladina was hiding under the stairs. Plus the demon. Before I knew it I was done. I thought it was well written and wild to read. Just a great book. I read it in one sitting. Loved the irony of a non-demon believer being involved in a demon story.
