I have truly enjoyed this series, I really looked forward to Matt's and Claire's story, nothing worse than loving someone getting up the nerve to let them know and than have an accident that changes your life and you don't want to be a burden on them. The gives a delightful romance that really gives you the true meaning of love. I thought she gave wonderful characters with true passion. I loved the plot and characters. It has a nice ending that leads into the next book of the series.

I had a hard time with this narrator, there was no emotions given or not enough to make it believable. He would drag out his words. I didn't hear any repeating of words, there were no volume changes but the way he narrator made it hard to finish this book. I didn't really care for his character voices made it was the dragging of the wording that took away from the rest of his work. For me this was not worth the listen. I finished it by reading the book.

This was a wonderful book of trusting in the power of love. Ms. Brower writes of love's passion and frustration and the reality of a traumatic event causing the loss of eyesight and a stalking situation.
While this book is second in the series, it can be read as a stand alone. I will go back to the first book to learn Dani and Ren's story now that I know Matt and Clair's story.
    I highly recommend this book.
i did receive an ARC of this book. I voluntarily read it and reviewed it.

I was given this book as an ARC to read for an honest review.

I was caught up in the story from the very start. The chemistry between Matt and Claire was evident with neither one of them wanting to give an inch due to various circumstances iin their lives. Matt is dealing with his blindness from his injuries and Claire has fMikly problems that exacerbates her ability to follow through. I love that it can stand on its own as a book and the reader doesn't have to have read the first book in the series.

I had the pleasure of listening to this on audio as well as reading the story.
Clair has more men issues than she first thought. Her stubborn boss won't admit his feelings and her ex starts bugging her even though he is with her sister. Yes this is one crazy ride you will so enjoy with that touch of adventure and bit of danger. Fun story, the audio brings it to life.

I enjoyed the story of Claire and Matt. This is a very quick read with many different situations. Claire's family plays a key roll in her reasoning skills while Matt's situation clouds his judgment. Very well written.

When I first started reading this book by Ms. Dawn Brower I kept thinking oh no I haven’t read the first in the heart’s intent series I am going to be so lost and I really won’t understand what is going on. Really I should have no fear because I have read several of Ms. Brower’s stories and should know her writing style yet I still was scared. Of course as soon as I read the book I seriously had no trouble understanding it and instantly loved the storyline and characters. So yes this story can be read as a standalone but of course I will definitely go back and read the first in the series after reading this book.
Matthew Price a very prominent lawyer was blinded in a car accident. Matthew loses all hope to be with Claire Jackson the one woman he truly wants and desires. Matthew wonders why Claire would want to be with someone like him now even though she remains constantly at his side taking care of him. Claire secretly has loved Matthew forever but thinks that with Matthew’s attitude he could never want her either. Just as Matthew starts to improve physically his desire and attraction for Claire comes to a head he can no longer avoid how he feels for Claire. Just as both Matthew and Claire express their feelings someone is out to hurt Claire. Could Matthew lose Claire now after telling her how he feels?
I really love heroines that are strong, self sufficient, can stand up for themselves, independent and aren’t really scared of anything. They have compassion and care for others even though they get treated like dirt by nearly everyone else. Claire was just this sort of person one that I could look up too and admire. I know in my heart we would get along even though we are in totally different fields. I was cheering her on and maybe it was also because I seriously had a little minor girl crush on Claire too. When it came to Matthew though I didn’t really like him he was a whiney immature crybaby and I just wanted to shake him plus reason with him look your blind so big deal learn how to deal with it and move on grow up it’s not the end of the world. I am glad he started to see a therapist but I thought Claire could do so much better than Matthew maybe even Dane. Still I liked the story and the secondary characters so yes I will definitely read more by Ms. Brower and in the series as well.
