His Perfect Match - Kian Rhodes

    Dear Reader,

This story is being released for the many, many people who wanted more information on how Jackal and Vlad ended up together in Flawlessly Imperfect. It is not a stand-alone story, and if you aren't familiar with The Omega Auction and The Omega Rescue series',  you will want to read (at the very least and in order) Buyer Beware, A Solstice Eve to Remember, and Flawlessly Imperfect before reading this story.

    Love,

    Kian

    Prologue

    Vlad

Vladimir! What are you doing now?

My head jerked up guiltily as my father strutted into the small sunroom where I was cruising for local hookups on Glimmr while I sipped my coffee.

Nothing, Tată, I said quickly, shoving the cell phone down the loose bodice of my shirt. How are you this morning?

Fine, fine, Tată grinned broadly. Did your mother speak to you about the company that we have coming?

Yes, Tată, I acknowledged with a sigh. Father had scheduled me to be interviewed to take over a prominent turkey shifter flock in the Lyuberetsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, over three thousand miles from my adoptive home in Bulgaria – as the turkey flies, anyway. It was evident that I’d failed to keep the disappointment out of my voice at the reminder when he raised a brow and cocked his head.

What’s wrong, cel mic? Tată asked kindly, patting my shoulder with his large hand. You're in your prime; its time for you to take your place in the world.

Yes, Tată, I agreed, staring into my nearly empty cup. No matter how many times I had tried to explain that I was a dragon in my heart, that I didn't want to have a flock of turkey hens at my beck and call, my father had just smiled indulgently and assured me that I'd feel differently once I knew if I was a leg or breast man – after all, the hens would have plenty of each!

I still hadn't managed to work up the nerve to tell him that I was actually more interested in, well, cocks than hens. Dragon cocks, if one was to be specific. After all, there was a reason that the hook-up app hidden on my phone was Glimmr and not Gobblr - not that I was seeing any action from my profile. When my father opened the morning paper, I set my cup down and excused myself.

I was heading for a walk among the fragrant garden flowers when my phone chimed unexpectedly. I pulled it from my loose shirt and leaned against the stone garden wall, an excited flush overtaking my body when I saw the flame icon that indicated a Glimmr message. Forcing myself to breathe slowly, I clicked the link and all but swooned at the picture of masculine dragon perfection on the screen in front of me. Even with only his face and torso framed in the picture, I could see that Galan – the name associated with the profile – was a large man. His bare chest boasted thick, bulging muscles
