About the authors
Okay, I'm a late bloomer who's a big DC comics fan and spent my childhood summers on the Jersey shore in the U.S. but have had a weird wanderlust to live in different parts of America ever since. That's enough about me. Need to feel inspired today? Looking for something to make you root for an ordinary hero? I'm all about that in everything I write.
I love a good tale that makes me wonder about things and I love a story even more that leaves me feeling inspired or like I'm capable of doing more than I realized. That's my goal with everything I've ever written. Some of the stories I tell involve twisting, turning thrillers and others have a lot of magic.
There's something to be said for getting lost in another world and coming out the other side feeling a little better about yourself or the possibilities in front of you. That's basically the best part of life in a nutshell, no matter what kind of story I'm setting out to tell.
Thank you for checking out my stories! There's more at www.marthacarr.com.
Join us on Facebook to hear about new books, giveaways, an idea rolling around about a universe-wide scavenger hunt at the end of the year and more. If you like the series please leave a review and send me a note. More adventures to follow - and thanks for sticking with me.
Michael Anderle (ok, weird talking about myself in the 3rd person) (1967-Hopefully a long time from NOW) was born in Houston, Tx. A very curious child, he got into trouble - a lot. What to do with an inquisitive mind when he was grounded? Read!
Ok, done with all of that 3rd person stuff.
In the first 20 years, I mostly read Science Fiction and Fantasy. In the last 10 years I have enjoyed Urban Fantasy and Military Fiction. With this background, I've been blessed with creating The Kurtherian Gambit series, a well-selling, and fan loved, collection of stories.
The fans have propelled these stories beyond my wildest imagination and they should get all of the credit for sharing with friends, family and occasionally the random person on the street. They are fantastic!
Judith Berens is a figment of your imagination, made up of the fevered brainpower of Michael Anderle and Martha Carr, fueled by a lot of people helping them out - as well as all of you, The Fans. Great stories mixed with a lot of great readers equals more adventures to follow.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2019I don't know that I would say there were any huge revelations or a lot of action. The girls are settling into their relationships and Craig may have had a chance meeting turn out to be exactly what his dating life needed. The government definitely seems to be closing in and this book is a great setup for the final book in the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2019Vickie’s adventure on video has caused an uproar and caught the attention of the wrong people. And that is where I will leave it. No spoilers! This book draws you into the story and you find yourself disappointed that it ends. I cannot wait for book 8!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2020While I found Book One to be a bit slow, later books in this series developed enough action and tension to make reading them worthwhile. Having finished Book 7 I can say I will buy Book 8 to see how the story 'ends up'. I really like the vampire character, her adoptive sister and her adoptive father. The dangers she faces in Wisconsin are real and I liked the 'cheese chunks' humor. As in Book One there was too much 'high school boy-girl romance and appearance issues' which slowed down the storyline. However, the main characters did change some and evolved enough to keep me interested. Recommended. Tom.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2019This is a very practical look at what an ancient vampire would need to deal with if awakened now. I love the details.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2020Fun stuff.
Good coming of age story and i looking forward to more of the authors stories in the future
- Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2019While still very entertaining this installment did not hold my interest in a vise grip like the prior ones. A lot of relationship development all around and some good action leading up to the next book.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2019I love the fact that her boyfriend isn't stupid, but gives her the space she needs to come clean to him. I'm glad she finally made the choice to tell him and I LOVED the dinner scene later. Craig is that dad that all kids should have. Fun book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Continues to Amaze
Been reading this series continuously. Not going to give anything away about this episode - just saying I’m looking forward to the final book in the series. Can’t work out how it’s all coming to a conclusion.
