Great idea, lazy execution. This lazy, adverb filled type of prose is quite
common in YA novels. The story idea is actually very unique, but it's
marred by cheap dialog, and uninspired characters.

This isn't normally my cup of tea, but I adored the concept. The action is just right, and the world is amazing! I liked the characters, but felt Katherine and Bevis could have been fleshed out better. Otherwise, a great novel. Will definitely read the rest!

Good, just good. If you enjoy imagery then this Is definitely a book for
you. But not just imagery, it's quite a unique and interesting story, yet
you feel like there are missed opportunities in the end. Dialogue is the
biggest issue I have, it's quite jarring at times. But it is worth a
read/listen just for the story.
