- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2019What a charming, fun, exciting romance that really broke my heart the way Hannah by her cousin but Garrick comes through that is after he knocks her out of her carriage. He becomes over protective and demands she stays in bed to get well. She goes nuts and breaks the rules what follows is a delightful romance that really touches the soul.
Ms. Hale’s narration is wonderful she has a lovely accent that really pulls you in. Her male and female voices are lovely, you always know who is talking and just what they are feeling. There are no repeats of words, no background noise or any volume changes. She gives a very thrilling narration right down to the hurt and pain of one evil cousin and the man who lives to protect her. She puts a lot of emotion into the characters you have no trouble seeing the scenes in your mind as it holds you attention. I thought her performance was wonderful. She really brings the story to life. I am really looking forward to listening to more of her work.
I thought the author really put time and thought into bring you a delightful story that steals your heart. I loved the characters, the plot was wonderful and the ending a delight that I didn’t want to end. I can’t wait to listen to more of this series.

FOREVER MY EARL was a short, romantic read and one I truly enjoyed. That's saying something too, because the editing (or lack thereof) was atrocious. Every chapter, indeed every few pages seemed to have a typo of some sort. If this was in fact edited, the person seemed to have an aversion to commas especially. I have to admit I became annoyed with all the mistakes though and there were a handful of instances where I had to go back and re-read something that didn't make sense at first glance. With that being said, I still thought this was a very charming love story and could give it no less than four stars.
Other than the editing, there was almost nothing else I didn't like. The only things I can think of concerned Garrick's absentee niece (which is explained at the end) and the fact that Garrick's time in the military is never expounded upon. Other than that I loved both he and Hannah, although she particularly stole my heart. There were also some very beautiful turn of phrases from Garrick and since I adore tales of young loves getting a second chance, this story was perfect for me. Overall I'm really glad I decided to read this sweet novella and am looking forward to Garrick's friend Viscount Warwick's book next =)
Ages: Hannah (26) Garrick (30)
Sex Scenes: (1) Short but sensual (outside of marriage) near the end.
Pages & Kindle Locations: The story itself contained 159 pages and ended at 77% and location 1351.

A fun and quick read! I wanted to read something light and romantic, so I chose Ms. Brower's sweet novella, FOREVER MY EARL, and what a nice surprise!
FOREVER MY EARL by Dawn Brower, is charming, well written, and so romantic that you won't be able to put it down. She nicely blended her well developed Garrick and Hannah's characters into a story of hope, dreams come true, and second chances.
FOREVER MY EARL tells the journey of two broken souls who never thought they would fall in love. The first time Hannah met Garrick, she knew he was hers for eternity. Unfortunately, he needs to leave for war. Hannah is so sweet, but lacks confidence in herself and believes she will stay a wallflower for the rest of her life. Ten years later, Garrick comes back home from war, and was met with an unexpected surprise. He inherits the title of Earl and becomes the caregiver for his late brother's daughter, Amelia. It becomes evident that he needs a wife to help him. Since he and Hannah already feel a mutual attraction and share a beautiful chemistry, they rekindle their friendship hoping their lives will change for the best! Will Hannah’s dream come true?
- Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2017Dawn Brower does it again with another great story. No time travel involved but still just as nice. Hannah meets Garrick when visiting her godmother's home as a 16 year old. He was about to leave for war so nothing could come of it but there was an attraction. Ten years later, he returns home to become the Earl after the death of his brother and she has arrived after being kicked out of her childhood home by the cousin who inherited her father's title.
Ms Brower has written two characters who are a little lost but who can help the other heal. Everyone recognizes that they are in love with each other except them. This is a fast paced story with a satisfying ending. It is a nice sweet little story.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2018Love at first sight isn't always smooth going, often there are many bumps on the way - and so it goes for Garrick and Hannah. Garrick is a complex character that Dawn has created as our erstwhile hero. He's been to war and carries scars and does not feel worthy of our dear Hannah. Hannah is a sweet young woman that is faced with challenges of her own but faces them with her head held high, she is a strong character and well developed by the author. The storyline is well thought out and introduces us to these and other fun and intriguing characters. I look forward to Ms. Hamilton's next book, hopefully we'll get to learn more about Warwick.
