Chapter One
With Bullets Blazing
The creature made of trash lumbers back to the woods, from the direction of the landfill. Its dissatisfaction with vague memories of a different body clashes with an anger that paves over old roads of fear. Its lustful memories seem at first to hold bites of carnal sound. Then it spots a black couch, partially up-ended on a log, tossed out in this clearing after its rejection at the dump where he fused this strong new trash-based body. He listens to the passionate murmurs of Love, as he sneaks up on the unseen intimate embrace. He can predict by the splayed leg thrown over the top of the couch, something is going on that,,,turns it on?
Before it can wonder how its fantastic body can manifest such desires, it clearly sees the whispering man writhes alone.
What in hell is going on?
it bellows. The spasmodic reaction from the couch’s sole lover, he gradually harnesses, so as to address the trash goliath- apparently, it’s really, actually towering there.
Ah! See...my name is Bob Jim Bodine. And you?
I’m the American Dream. Why were you carrying on out here alone?
Well, there’s this girl I really like, and...I was practicing what sweet nothings to whisper... when I finally get close enough to her petite ears.
Who says Romance is dead?
quips Garbage Mouth. Then the heap leans towards Bob Jim.
