The show's details are slightly convoluted, but the competition does create touching opportunities for the contestants' families to bond and show support. The story strikes the perfect balance for its subgenre, reflecting queer people's authentic experiences while keeping the mood light and frothy. Higgins gives world-weary readers looking for an inclusive and thoroughly enjoyable escape exactly what they need.

I loved every second of this book.
AMAZING
The book was amazing. It was funny, realistic relatable, but I feel like it was way too short and that the ending was rushed and they didn’t really have a plan for the ending at all.
Loved it !!
This story melted my ice cold heart and made me believe in the possibility of love again. Having two characters I can finally say I could see myself in made this book so much more special to me. The communication between Kris and D’Vaughn was beautiful done.
