      CATCHING UP WITH BRANDON

      Damn, life can get pretty crazy, even for an average guy like me.

      And yeah, I think I'm a pretty average guy, in my early twenties, at college, learning about life and myself.

      I've got an older brother named Carter, a dad who works in construction, and a mom who works in real estate. They're divorced. Again, I'd say that's fairly common. Unlike some people, I'm happy they've made the choice to be happy rather than staying together for our sake. That never works.

      I live in a relatively average neighborhood, in a cul-de-sac and our house backs onto a ravine with some paths, a river and a bunch of small streams. I like to hike back there, sometimes. It's peaceful.

      Again, pretty average.

      What's not so average is what's been going on in my pretty much average life, average home, and average neighborhood.

      You see, my neighbor is a cop. Brady. He's pretty fucking hot, muscular, butch, looks great in his uniform, black hair, dark eyes and a cock that won't quit.

      He's a bit of a predator. I know because I've seen him hunting my dad. And then me. He caught both of us. And, I suspect my brother too, though he hasn't said anything, only hinted at it.

      He's got a partner on the job, another cop, named Chuck Carson, he's my best friend's dad.

      My best friend introduced me to sex with men, but it was his father that had been really giving me an education. And of course, Brady.

      I've wanted to talk to my dad about what I'm feeling and doing, but it's an awkward thing to discuss with a parent, let alone a butch, super straight construction worker type guy, who's into fishing and hockey and women.

      At least that's what I thought I knew about him. Until I saw him in a different way. In the basement, in a bathrobe, with Brady between his legs, doing things.

      So now I know my dad likes the same things I do, but he's not quite as open and eager as I am. He's resisting and we've only had one or two awkward conversations about it. Maybe it's a generational thing.

      But I can tell he likes it, doing it with dudes.

      Yet I still can't bring myself to tell him everything, although I have asked him about Brady and Chuck. I opened the door for him to come clean, then I would too, but he didn't want to talk about it.

      I get that. I don't really want to talk about it either. Maybe the things we're doing with men doesn't need to be discussed. It is fairly personal, and private. Maybe we should just do what we want and enjoy it.

      But for some reason I feel this need to share with him, I want to see what he thinks about it. Straight guys talk with their dads about the hot women they've banged, don't they?

      But I think my dad is having trouble accepting that he's been enjoying Brady's attentions as much as he has.

      And other men, I'm sure. Maybe he doesn't want to know that I'm enjoying it too. He's kind of old fashioned, I guess. But my generation, we've had access to it all, and likely seen too much, thanks to the internet.

      Everyone is so superficially okay with all the variation out there, but then, when things start happening, it's like it's the fifties again. Guys get nervous and want things to be a secret.

      Not all of them. But a lot of them. Especially the older guys. Or the straight guys. I'm okay with that. Who needs to know our little secrets?

      My dad is pretty fucking good looking, though, which is why Brady pursued him. And Brady is pretty fucking butch and handsome, which is probably why my dad didn't put up too much of a fight.

      He could have.

      He's strong: working in construction has given him a hot muscular body, he's got a great tan, he's handsome and I always wondered why he didn't find someone else after he and my mom split up.

      He said it was because one shitty relationship was enough for him.

      Then he apologized because he didn't want to poison us against her. But I knew they'd had a rocky relationship – my dad is basic blue collar, my mom aspires to move in a different class of people – although she keeps going for the same type of men- butch, muscular and basic.

      Plus, he said, he works a lot and looks after us and just didn't have the time to date.

      I suspected he felt maybe he was too old, but he's only in his forties and he still gets a lot of looks.

      When I found out he and Brady were enjoying some private time together, I was happy, at least he wasn't going without any kind of release. All guys need something now and then, you know?

      The three of us live in a house together, and we visit my mom in the city at her condo now and then, which I normally don't enjoy, although after meeting the hot/mean security guard there I'm a little more open to occasional visits.

      So, the last time I was there it turned out the guy she was going on a date with was the coach. The coach I'd sucked off that very afternoon in the athletics department storage room. And then he did things to me in the kitchen while my mom and his son Patrick chatted in the living room. It was intense and unexpected.

      It was bad, I know, fucking around with my mom's date, but I couldn't help myself. I can be a bit impulsive. Besides, I had him first.

      She was only going on a date with him, which was her standard operating procedure for these days. Date and determine. She usually determined she wasn't interested. Unlike me, she was picky. Wrestling and football coach, not exactly her type. He was my type though. I knew it as soon as I'd seen him in the shadows, jerking off and watching me fuck in that equipment room.

      He's your typical coach – in his forties, good body, muscular, but not overly so. Beefy. Strong. The kind of guy you didn't want to antagonize in the Walmart parking lot.
