About this ebook
This is my second publication in The First Tuesday Poetry series. They are poems selected from those I have put up on my blog the first Tuesday of every month since October of 2013. I have entitled this collection - Body Life. They are reflections on the Christian life and walking in the Spirit. It is my hope that they will inspire the reader with the beauty of Truth and Faith.

I am a poet, an historian, a novelist, and a writer for stage and screen, but foremost a responder to Jesus (Romans 5:8). I was employed for over forty years in the entertainment industry, the last thirty of which I have crunched numbers successively for three of the top ten theater circuits in the US. Back then my forte was numbers, added up in columns and balanced. Now I am hard at work exploring the richness of existence in a passion for words. Words that add up into poems, works of fiction and non, and works to be performed. I am currently writing my third novel, looking out from my window onto the great Pacific Northwest, where I live with my wife Karen. I am self-publishing my first work in June 2022, and from then on, plan to put something out every three months. Join me as I follow the Word.

In May of 2013, I created a blogsite which I named Watch This Space,
and began to post on various topics of interest to me. First came Memories of my life, from childhood on up (still more to come there). Then I added more of my writings - short stories, articles of research from my historical interests - and one screenplay.
In October of that year, I began a monthly posting of my poetry. I chose to post them on the first Tuesday of each month, hence the series title on the volume before you. A good many date back to the nineties. In 1994 I printed and handbound a volume of them which I gave out to friends. I tagged each poem with a collection title with the idea to separate them out one day.
In 2022 I published the first volume using one of those collection titles - Songs of the Prophets.
Now, I am bringing out a second volume using another of those collection titles - Body Life.
Like the first volume my hope is that they will speak to you.
