About the author

As a reader and a viewer, I love stories full of fast-paced action that also have strong, relatable characters, from Eve Dallas to Sydney Bristow to Lara Croft. In my novels I strive to give the reader exactly that. I sometimes try to be dark, but the humor always seeps in. This creates a unique blend that my readers (mostly) enjoy, and I hope you will to.
That's all you really need to know about me. Thank you for reading!

- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseMuch better than I expected! Enjoyed the references to some the characters in the Kay Riley series. Why are more words required to post a review?
- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseDouble and triple crosses, but all part of the master plan. Devious characters, red herring galore, a diversified cast, and plenty of violence
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseVery riveting, action, amazingly great flow. Pleasantly surprised by the turn of events. Was expecting one thing and totally blown away by the ending!!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseNot Worth the money ! Poorly written, poor development of the characters. Glib events that are not believable or occurring in real life.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2020Format: KindleI reviewed this book after receiving a free copy to read. All opinions are my own.
I really enjoyed Book One of The Levelers upcoming series. The Levelers are a husband and wife con artist duo that are modern day Robin Hoods, robbing from the rich to give to the poor. There is a lot of action and suspense that propels this book along quickly. I didn’t want to put it down!
This book serves to set up the series with lots of characters being introduced through dialogue so not everyone is fully fleshed out. And given the heist thriller genre, we can’t know whether to believe the actions and words of any character. There are twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end. I really look forward to reading the next book gIven my love for heist thrillers.
If you like heist thrillers I highly recommend you check out The Levelers and The Grafton Heist!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2020Format: KindleI voluntarily read this book after receiving a free copy. I felt like the boom was slow moving and had a lot of characters that didn’t seem meaningful. I do expect that with heist books typically. I also expect heist books to usually have a slow build until it all clicks together. This book didn’t have the exact “click” where it all fell into place for me. It was a good con but it just seemed like the intricate details throughout the story were not pertinent to getting the con into place for the ending of the story. Overall it was a good read but it just didn’t fully nail it for me.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2020Format: KindleI love a twist in the plot to end a book. I keep thinking I'm out sitting the author and then, I remember why I'm the lowly reader not the smart author. Here we have a twist, then a turn of events followed by a twist then a turn with a twist. This author reigns supreme!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2020Format: KindleThe synopsis described this book as having an intricate plot. My vote is for too intricate. So many details and fuzzy character definitions that I had a hard time figuring out what was going on. My guess is that the author was in the pursuit of "twists and turns," which ended up obscuring the plot. Which was a cool idea, BTW.
I gave this honest voluntary review after being given a free copy of the book with no monetary compensation.

2.0 out of 5 stars The Grafton Mess
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI persevered with this book to the conclusion, but found the going very tough. There was a big twist at the end, but the storyline was so convoluted on the way through, that it confused me. The characters all seemed to be irrational much of the time, and the plans for the heist did not make a lot of sense. The little dalliances such as the pirate and pigeon, the man in the diner etc were also distractions.
I got through, and it was not the worst book I have read by a long shot, but it was far from the best - hence the rating. I probably won’t bother with book #2

5.0 out of 5 stars 5* I couldn't put it down
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseA well written plot which kept me guessing throughout. Almost too clever at times, or maybe I was being particularly obtuse. With so many twists and turns I had to backtrack a sentence or two (or six) to work out who was double/triple/quadruple crossing who.
A real page turner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining story.
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI enjoyed reading the story but it was a bit transparent, I found myself predicting what was going to happen next and two times out of three I was right. It passed a day on and it was entertaining though.
