Chapter One

You do know those cream puffs are going straight to your hips, right?

Zoey Thomas defiantly popped another puff pastry into her mouth. My hips are fine ... all curvy and round, like it’s always been. Her face turned into a grimace of distaste as she gulped down the already cold tea. Her nude fingernails looked dainty and feminine as she wiped her mouth with the monogrammed serviette of Central Bistro on Arch Street in Boston MA, where an upbeat Parisian vibe pervaded the lively nook specializing in classic French plates and pastries.
