Some loves need a push.

Fallon Hopkins is a good country girl. She’s twenty-three and spends her time taking care of her family, the Farm and going to the Local Farmer’s Markets to sell her sweet confections. This leaves little room for anything else. Her life is happy if not a little boring.

Justin Blackthorne is a New York City transplant, having come to Kentucky to dislodge the silver spoon from his foul mouth. He seems like a party boy, covered in tattoos, and piercings, with a lifestyle to match.

Enter Joseph Hopkins Fallon’s meddling father, after meeting Justin he decides the boy may just be the thing to get his daughter out of the farmhouse and into the real world. Enlisting the aid of his youngest son Peter they force the pair to interact even after a disastrous first meeting.

The pair quickly find they have less to fight about and more to fight for. Can they conquer the bonds of family or will it all just be

First I must say I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. This book is about country girl Fallon who has stepped in to the mother role for her brothers and dad when her mom passed away meets city boy Justin running from his past. When Justin lands a job working for Fallon's dad their attraction is undeniable despite their less then nice first meeting. Between a meddling father, over protective brothers and bad past experiences getting in the way of Fallon and Justin growing relationship sets the stage for some great humor, drama and romance. This is a great read and would recommend this book to everyone. Can't wait to read more from these two authors.

I'm loving this series! Reading Fallon, Justin, and the rest of the family's story is the perfect getaway from reality!!

    This was a steamy romance.

Overall, this was an okay read. Reactions to situations seemed overly dramatic. Things blown way out of proportion. Just did not seem realistic honestly and was at times off-putting. The story itself needed tightening up. Found myself skimming along the way to move the story along. Fallon got ticked off at the drop of a hat, over reacted, pouted, seemed childish at times, even though she was supposed to be the queen of everything. Justin however, I really did like him, though not at first. My first impression of him was low end, cocky, and a horndog, but he ended up tugging on my heart strings a bit and overall, he was my favorite character. He redeemed himself.

Written as a first person, multi pov (their whole family had an opinion)

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a wonderful collaborative story from these two authors. I loved all the characters. Fallon and Justin were so great. It was fun to see all of the interactions between the characters and get to know the whole family. I can't wait to see where the next story goes and hopefully see more of the characters that I came to love.
I received an early copy for an honest review.

You know most of the time I read books placing me in some random place that it takes me a while to orient myself to where I am at but in this book by Ms. S.I. Hayes and Ms. J Haney the place and flavor of Kentucky was not only easily imagined but anyone that has been there could see the place in their minds with no problems. I think I spent most of the time with my mouth watering not because of the characters or the story but the descriptions and imagery of the many homemade foods from main courses to dessert just made me want to eat all the foods in the book while I was reading which I can say this is the first book that made me want to do this. I have read books from Ms. Hayes but not Ms. Haney but after reading this book I know I want to read more of their books either separately or together since both authors write extremely well together or apart and I feel that I’ve gained 50 pounds from reading this book alone.
Fallon Hopkins is a good responsible country girl taking care of her family and selling her baked confections to the local Farmer’s Market but as soon as Justin Blackthorne comes into town he not only can’t avoid Fallon’s crazy family antics but the mystique of Fallon or falling for her. Even though Fallon’s dad has ideas about Fallon and Justin being together it definitely leaves all of Fallon’s brothers plus her dad in an uproar leaving the Fallon family dynamics with relationships destroyed. Can Justin and Fallon’s love keep everyone together or is it doomed to fail.
I just loved Fallon’s feisty independent stubborn attitude. She is really a heroine to admire strong, beautiful and smart I definitely think we would have gotten along and I would really want to have a cup of coffee no really I would much rather sit at her table eating her delicious food. Justin’s appearance did scare me a little since I prejudged him pretty harshly at first but as I read into him I couldn’t help but like him. I couldn’t agree more with how crazily perfect Fallon was for Justin even though I did wonder what made him leave his rich upbringing and previous life. I just got the sense there was more to him than what was written but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. I felt bad for Nick hoping that he found someone and if Fallon’s dad and Fallon ever were able to get past their issues. I do hope there is more to the Hopkins family because I will surely read about them.

I absolutely just loved this story! Fallon is a spit fire full of spunk and Justin is a sweetheart willing to do anything to make his woman happy. Mix that in with 3 crazy protective brothers and a meddling father and it's a damn good time.
