JF Holland was born at home in January 1968. Now a wife and mother to 6 children, she lives with her husband, 4 of her children still at home - and a small menagerie of animals. She's still lives in the small town on the border of Manchester and Cheshire (UK) where she was born and raised.

She's always loved the underdog, the fighter. But, let's face it, we all want to believe in a happily ever after. She enjoys spending time with her family, and a good rock concert if her body allows it. Apart from that, if she's not writing, she's usually got her head stuck in a good book – romance of course. To her, both reading and writing are like a screen as she watches the story come to life in her imagination. From as far back as she can remember, she's either written or read. When younger, she tended to re-write books and fairy-tales where she wasn't completely happy with the ending. Let’s just say – her penchant for doing so confused the hell out of her children once they learned how to read themselves: none of the books matched the stories she'd been reading to them growing up.

Until she became ill she had a varied career including Admin, Customer Service, and Teaching unemployed adults IT and customer service skills. Now at home full time, classed as disabled - she finds that neuro fog can make both life and writing fun and challenging at times. So, instead of twiddling her thumbs and feeling sorry for herself, she decided it was time to do something which she loved. Therefore, she began to write her own stories - it keeps her mind active and she finds it enjoyable. Now a member of the Romance Novelists Association (RNA) which she joined at the end of 2017 - a later bloomer and a tad forgetful. Just under under 3-years after she released her first book, she now has over 14 titles out in both Contemporary and Paranormal Romance - and more coming.

    This series of books has been a wild ride...I am exhausted, yet can't get enough. Light up the Moon continues the fight between the immortals of Lower Lunaton and the mad witch Maisie, and things are clearly racing towards a showdown of catastrophic proportions.

    Despite every effort by Sophia, Agatha and Helena - Balin's wounds aren't healing and Davion barely clings to life - they are stumped. Meanwhile, Sophia and Luc (the sexiest gargoyle ever) continue to explore their unexpected connection as their passion quickly develops into something far deeper.

    While the immortals struggle to work out what is hampering the recovery of Balin and Davion, a surprise visitor from the fae realm appears to assist in their endeavours to track down the crazy witch. Maisie, however, isn't going down with a fight and, when cornered unleashes a savage assault.

    Sophia finally knows how to break the curse, but the price may be higher than any of them realise.

    I have been riveted by this series from the first word of the first book all the way through to the last word of the last page and have come to love all the characters (except Maisie, of course). The story ends, but I don't think is entirely finished, especially if the tantalising 'to be continued' is anything to go by. Thank you Ms Holland for taking me on this fascinating journey through your world of immortals. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

    Luc the centuries old gargoyle and Sophia the 50ish witch.... This book was my favorite yet more Bailn, more fighting against Mazzie, and of course Luc & Sophia. I loved how this book flowed with all the storylines from the past books continuing and adding new intriguing characters. Quick action packed read .

    This book continues on from book three in the series, and I wasn't disappointed.

    I was thrown back into the shifter world, and was given details of the recovery process of Balin.

    This story centres more on Luc and we find out the reasonings behind his curse, we are also introduced to Sophia who has an integral part in this book.

    Luc is a man that cares a lot for those around him, he classes his friends more like family, and would do anything to make sure that they are all safe and happy. He has however a long standing feud with Leonard, and in this read we find out how this came about, and the consequences of his friends actions.

    Sophia, is a woman that has lived many lives, she would sacrifice anything to make sure that her family are safe, she would also do anything she can to help others in need.

    I loved this book, it had everything that you need in a read, and this series is one where it lets you escape into another world. You will be taken on a rollercoaster of emotions and there will be times that you will be shouting at the characters.

    I recommend reading this series as you will not be disappointed and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

    Maisie is one twisted character. She is pure evil and must be stopped. Jaden and the entire group hunt for her and when her husband takes her, they get a brief relief. Balin’s injuries were very bad and Lana was distraught. Sophia and Agatha do their best but he isn’t getting better. They must find out exactly what Maisie did to him. Can they find out in time to save him? Sophia and Luc are my favorite and I do hope we learn more about the two. The battle once again rages with Maisie and they must fight again. Will this be the end for her and her evil ways? Excellent writing. I cannot wait for the continuation.

    I would give this entire series more than 5 stars if I could. I read book one last week and enjoyed it so much I downloaded the other 4 in the series and now I am anxiously waiting for book 5 to come out. This is one of those series that keeps you wanting to read and each book picks up right where the last book left off. Each book is mainly about one couple but it also has the other characters through out the book so we can keep up with them too. There are panthers, bears, wolves, vampires, tigers, white tigers, plus some other shifters and surprises. Love, love, love this series. There is also humor, I laughed more than once, action, suspense, and some sizzling sex.
