About this ebook
As we know, everything in existence vibrates energetically. We don't see that vibration, but when trying to influence a particular outcome, it helps to use corresponding energies to add magickal weight, so to speak, to the working. Herbs or plants carry just as much energetic influence as the colors, crystals, or anything else does. The information contained within the pages of this book represents that information along with some general information about plant constituents and properties. Instead of a materia medica, this book is indeed an Herbal Magicka of those special plants that assist in magickal workings of all kinds. ~ Blessed Be

Introduction
As we know, everything in existence vibrates energetically. We don’t see that vibration, but when trying to influence a particular outcome, it helps to use corresponding energies to add magickal weight, so to speak, to the working. Herbs or plants carry just as much energetic influence as the colors, crystals, or anything else does.
Most witches love their herbs and plants and I’m no different. Although I’ve had herbal training, and I’m including some general information for the majority of the plants in the pages that follow, most of the information provides various correspondences for each one.
So, this is not a book on using plants or herbs medicinally.
Instead, the focus of this book is an herbal magicka of sorts that includes the magickal uses of various plants used in herb magick. The plant’s ruler, the corresponding day, its elemental correspondence, and the Deity if known are included. There will also be a short section on how herbs might be used in herb magick.
In fact, what follows is less a materia medica and more a materia magicka of my favorite herbs to use in magick and healing. It’s not meant to diagnose any physical problems, only to provide information on herbal properties and constituents along with any correspondences used in magick.
Eventually, as one learns more about the properties of plants, I’ve found that it’s easy to determine, at least generally, how they can be used in magick. In other words, if a plant is diuretic then the witch could infer that it might be useful in cleansing or purification rituals.
My sources include old grimoires and herbal references from the public domain along with herbal training and personal research I’ve done over the last forty years or so, as well as information I’ve taken from my own grimoire. The photographs of herbs are of those that I personally grow. The rest come from the public domain and are listed in the Reference section at the back of
