Colton and Demitra were supposed to be forever. So they made promises to each other before he left. He promised he’d come back to her, and she promised she’d wait for him, always.

Four months apart and Colton spots Demitra with someone else. Accusations are made, and Colton decides that leaving is the best thing for him to do.

All Colton’s ever wanted is for Demitra to be happy—even if it meant her happiness didn’t belong to him. So, he stayed away. He moved on. That’s what he thought until life brought him back home three years later. He arrived in Fairborn with one mission—attend his siblings’ graduation, take care of his family’s business, and get out, but it wasn’t that simple.

After dropping Demitra off at the local mechanic, Colton can’t seem to get her off his mind. When Demitra contacts him about meeting to go over the plans for the coffee shop, he accepts.

Old feelings resurface, tainted with resentment. One glimpse at Demitra’s happiness and all Colton wants to do is ruin it, but the more time he spends with her, the more his resentment fades, shining a light on his need to have her.

There’s just one problem. Colton’s best friend—the guy he trusted with his life—is in love with Demitra, and he’s not sure if she feels the same.

    French Vanilla Spice is a sweet and slightly spicy novella that was an enjoyable read. The story is about Colton and Demitra who are childhood friends that progress into high school sweethearts. But before heading to different colleges they split up, as it just makes sense and there were some miscommunications which pushed them to it. But love does not die that easily and when they are both back in their hometown years later things spark between them again.

    I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

    What a beautiful story this was.

    I loved reading about and getting to know Demi and Colt. I felt a true connection to each character and going between each character's POV made the story that much more enjoyable. I loving getting know what each character goes through and feeling what they are feeling at a particular moment.

    The storyline was incredible. It was so we'll written that I could feel the emotions just pour off of each page and into my heart. The feelers in this story were so strong which made me need to know more and hoping for a happy ending. It's an amazing love story and I highly recommend it!!

    loved it !!! love Colton !!! swoon.. love Demi !!! this is their story... a fast paced drama full of misunderstandings and heart ache... once childhood BFF's then high school sweet hearts... they broke to go to different colleges...misunderstandings abound...then fate brings them together once again...emotional roller coaster...

    I unfortunately had to DNF this book. It could have been a cute romance if I could stand Colton (the male mc and love interest), but he annoyed me to no end and I questioned everything about him. I liked Demi, but her pov wasn’t in the book long enough to make it worth finishing. (I think she had like two while Colton had like about ten? Colton had a lot and I found him so juvenile that I had to skip his chapters).
    This is a me thing, so if you like cute romances and high school sweethearts trying to make it back to each other than this might be the book for you.
