    All I can say is wow....this was a thrilling 5+ star read.
    I was looking for a dark read and this one checked all my boxes.

    Stella is starting her senior year in a new town. She is used to moving all over with her father, he swears this time is different and she can make friends. Stella is a 100% badass, she has been training for years on how to take care of herself. I will say that she has met her match in Seb and boys.

    Sebastian, oh my. He is a hot as heck alpha male with dark tendencies. He actually had a very steamy encounter with Stella before she started school, he was surprised to see her again. When he finds out who she really is, he swears he will get his revenge. I loved how the guys would push Seb's buttons when it came to Stella.

    Overall this was a great read that pulled me right in. All of the characters were great, I loved all of the boys, they all had different personalities that you fell for. And of course we get the bully mean girls as well. My head was spinning with the push and pull between Seb and Stella. And we get some very steamy moments as well. And of course we are left with a heck of a cliff hanger that had my jaw dropping. I need the next book asap. 1-click and get started today on this awesome series.

    I love this series of Knight Ridge Empire. (I am currently reading Nico's story which is the 5th trilogy in this series so I know more than I did when I first started with this book Wicked Knight. After reading as far in as I have I feel like American readers need to be updated on really what to expect. It says High School but the author says 12th and 13 year and even college at some points in the series. I feel like it could be both and that the author got caught up between the two for us that could either be high school or college. This trilogy of Seb and Stella and the next trilogy of Theo both feel like they are more high school but by the time we get to Toby and even Calli's trilogies, they feel almost college-level and less high school. that being said they are great stories but expect UK English instead of American some minor grammar issues that can be fixed in the later trilogies but overall I am in book 13 so it nots overly done mistakes that cant be overlooked.

    *Read the prequel short!* I didn’t know it existed until the end of book 3, ha-ha.
    I LOVED this book! It’s got a ton of spice, and angst, and drama, and the most bad*ss female lead!! I adore Stella. She knows what she wants, and she works for it! She has a life, and a backstory, with friends and hobbies that you see continue to be important, even as she makes new friends (girls and guys! Yay).
    The friction and heat between Stella and Sebastian is so good! I totally thought we were going reverse-harem in this book, though we do not (and there will not be in the later books for Stella/Seb either). There’s quite a bit of exhibitionism/voyeurism though!
    I feel like the trigger warnings oversold a little (yes, I’m the type to read the trigger warnings to see if the spicy stuff is going to check my boxes). I wish there was a bit more, but I did so enjoy what we had!! I’d rather a trigger warning go too far and protect sensitive folks anyway, so well-done there. May I add that the guy calls the gal ‘whore’ the entire freaking first 3 books though?! I had to substitute another word in my head at times because it was way overused. Pet names or sexy-time names or insults can get really repetitive fast, and they use the same one for everything Stella related. Ugh. She’s a bad*ss, let’s call her that, huh?
    I also appreciate how the author calls out fangirling over mafia shows and MC stuff like Sons of Anarchy, when that’s what the book is about. Nice little side plug for other ways to get our fix of the good stuff.

    If you are looking for a hot, new adult, mafia, bully romance this is the book for you. Stella and Seb practically burn up the page. The chemistry between them is amazing.

    Stella is a tough lady who takes no BS from anyone, even the kings of the school. I love that even later in the story she does not turn into a simpering little girl that waits for Seb to rescue her. The definition of self-rescuing princess.

    Poor Seb did not know what he was in for. Stella turns his world upside down. No matter how much he wants to hate her, he desires her more and nothing will stop him from having her.

    This whole series was so good, I could not put it down.

    Ok, so I thought that book 1 in the Knight's Ridge would be about Emmie as it continues from Rebel Ink but I'm glad it was put in this order.

    There are warnings before you read this book and PLEASE listen to them. This series is very dark Mafia not just Mafia. There is alot of swearing, violent scenes including violent s*x scenes and it's not until you get to the second book does that calm down. So keep reading on!!

    If you have read other Mafia books the girl always gets her own back so keep reading and don't get hung up on the use & abuse of Stella because she well and truly get her own back. But also it helps to set the book up for who Stella & Seb really are and what the truth ends up coming out.

    Tracy has done a good job in releasing the details about each characters life and past and also creating characters that are more than perfect for each other. It's very rare we get a MFC like Stella who is more than dark, dangerous and twisted as the MMC or other male characters. It's refreshing.

    I wasn't sure if I was going to continue reading the series with the way the boys used girls and their constant language about it. The humiliation scene got me; but I powered through and I was glad I did; because Stella more than returns the favour but also she's glad she finally has someone that gets her dark mind.
