JF Holland was born at home in January 1968. Now a wife and mother to 6 children, she lives with her husband, 4 of her children still at home - and a small menagerie of animals. She's still lives in the small town on the border of Manchester and Cheshire (UK) where she was born and raised.

She's always loved the underdog, the fighter. But, let's face it, we all want to believe in a happily ever after. She enjoys spending time with her family, and a good rock concert if her body allows it. Apart from that, if she's not writing, she's usually got her head stuck in a good book – romance of course. To her, both reading and writing are like a screen as she watches the story come to life in her imagination. From as far back as she can remember, she's either written or read. When younger, she tended to re-write books and fairy-tales where she wasn't completely happy with the ending. Let’s just say – her penchant for doing so confused the hell out of her children once they learned how to read themselves: none of the books matched the stories she'd been reading to them growing up.

Until she became ill she had a varied career including Admin, Customer Service, and Teaching unemployed adults IT and customer service skills. Now at home full time, classed as disabled - she finds that neuro fog can make both life and writing fun and challenging at times. So, instead of twiddling her thumbs and feeling sorry for herself, she decided it was time to do something which she loved. Therefore, she began to write her own stories - it keeps her mind active and she finds it enjoyable. Now a member of the Romance Novelists Association (RNA) which she joined at the end of 2017 - a later bloomer and a tad forgetful. Just under under 3-years after she released her first book, she now has over 14 titles out in both Contemporary and Paranormal Romance - and more coming.

    Balin's book was my favorite one so far. Action packed continuing storyline, some really emotional parts makes this one a page turner.

    Yet another fast paced tale set in Lunaton, where not all is as it seems! No time to take a breath, we plunge straight back in where we left off in Bound by the Moon as Balin finally tracks down his mate only to discover she's a pole dancer, being leered at by salivating humans. Lana is not best pleased that this so called mate is more grouchy shifter than dashing suitor who is seemingly more interested in a redheaded nymph than her (cue, first of many, irate mind-link exchanges) their meeting made worse by the fact Lana's family have serious issues with cat shifters.

    To be fair, they both got a shock and their reactions were...errr...less than considered, but lives are at stake here and Balin only wants to protect his mate. Lana doesn't believe she needs protecting so their bickering continues, going from funny to serious to heartbreaking and back to funny as hints of their lives unfold through their telepathic communications. Unfortunately time is running out - the witch Maisie is still hunting Maya and Lana and the danger intensifies. By the time Lana realises how much she cares for Balin, it might be too late.

    What I love about these books is that with each one we get to meet more of the paranormal community of Lunaton as well as delving further into the lives of those we've already come to know. In Fire in the Moon, healing becomes vital and the amount of research JF Holland has done regarding ancient healing and mystical rites is astonishing. I was fascinated by the level of detail, which doesn't detract from the main thread of the story, merely adds another layer to it.

    As with the previous two, I could not put this book down - the lives, loves and losses of the inhabitants of Lunaton have become my latest addiction! Five stars

    This book lets us dive into Balin’s story. His mate is Lana and she doesn’t want to believe it. She fights him on every move and it doesn’t help that her mother hates him. When things take a turn for the worse, Lana finally sees the good in him and she wonders if it is too late. The fight with Maisie still ensues but with Helena and the rest of the gang, they hopefully can finally end her reign of terror. Luc and Sophia, “sign”, make my heart melt. Another great read for this series. You will not want to put this one down.

    JF Holland has outdone herself yet again. I have to say this book is my favourite so far in this series. Despite Lana's stubborn nature, it is no match for her mate's (Balin) persistent one. Balin's determination to set things right between him and Lana after a rough start is admirable, and the chemistry between the two of them is undeniable. The author has created captivating characters with attitude and allure that is sure to leave you wanting more. I'm excited to see how the rest of their story continues in book 4.
